The original question is about this ROM and if it supports playing the game. I wonder if shin has any interest in doing this with beta 4 though. Might make the phone itself faster yeah?

Yeah that's why I didn't ask a mod to move it after reviewing how it started.. I was just thinking of respect for shin not to fill his thread with unrelated posts.... But yeah actually if you look at the change log it has swap support in it for beta3.. It's just that non of us knew what swap was.. He can't really set us up the swap for us since you have to pick the size of the file you want.. Which is how much extra ram memory you will give yourself

You need the app swapper 2. I'm pretty sure it's on the market for free. It requires the kernel that's on shins rom (downthemachines).

When you open swapper. Go to settings. In file location change the word sdcard to data. Leave the rest the same. Then pick the file size (I used 256 or something similar.) then put swapiness to 60. Then hit menu then swap. Then create swap file. It will say please wait. And it will take awhile. When it says swap created and swapiness ok, permissions changed, all done. I you should be good to go..

To check and make sure open android emulator and type free. If it says anything other than 0 next to swap you good to go.

This is EXCELLENT ADVICE. It should be tipped! I'm glad shin has it already setup for us. It should be in his setup post!!

Sometimes it takes forever to set up swap.. I think you can also just click ON at the top (after setting up the swap settings of course). And that usually sets up swap and activates it.. Don't worry if you see a few things say fail at first. Because it's not done until it says all done.. Just play with it and remember it takes awhile to set itself up...

Don't forget the thanks button
