Root [Boost Mobile] [ Team Osiris ][ Linaro ] CyanogenMOD 10 Beta 2.0 Camera WORKING ( Jellybean 4.1.2 ) for ZTE WARP

The latest build works really good for me, I have had no lockups at all, settings and wi-fi will stick after a few re-boots, Overall, Damn good job!!! Now we need some way to at least put the play store in action, without it, or gapps, kinda dead in the water, so to speak. But the Rom itself is FANTASTIC!!!

It was working pretty well with games like minecrft it ran pretty smooth,and jet pack joy ride ran flawlessly.
 
Well that was just bothersome. Two days ago I finally took the plunge and stated upgrading from M5 to M6. Installed some APKs from backups GAPPS and started updating apps. While I'm waiting I see that M7 is out! Turned into a long night. :)
M7 has been running great. Better than any pervious release. I can finally use my Warp for an extended period of time without wanting to throw it against the wall.
Thanks for all the hard work, its coming together great now.
Couple issues already mentioned.
WiFi only likes static IP addresses and I had to rip out the AOKP keyboard app to get my preferred keyboard installed, the clock issue is my only real complaint.
Once Bluetooth and camera are functional I'll be a happy happy camper and won't feel like I need to destroy this device and pony up the cash for a different one.
 
Call me crazy, insane, whatever.
ive started porting the LK "Little Kernel" Bootloader to zte warp.
this is because boost will never allow zte to give us the ics or jb update.
and some things rely on an updated bootloader.

how am i doing this ?
1. blefish has ported the same to the hauwei U8800. Hardware is nearly identical.

2. alot of careful reading and research.

3. possibly getting help from blefish aswell.

This couid also open up the possibillity for proper fastboot mode
and maybe even a new recovery technique. such as boot from sdcard.
dual boot maybe ?
or a menu driven bootloader.

all of these are possiblittlies of building a custom bootloader

The updated gapps works fine for me. Besides the obvious... my only issues are not receiving MMS and can't switch keyboards. Its getting better with every build,!
Well, still having the audio routing issue too...

Having same MMS issues. In order to switch keyboards I had to use Titanium Backup to uninstall the AOKP keyboard, then I could use a different one. Some weird audio issues with calls not hearing me after listening to headphones until I switch to speaker phone. Then works okay.
Still best build yet.

LOL occasionally lack of sleep while programming can cause an oops like that! It does look like the updated file, but I'm looking from my phone. Hard to compare, but it looks right. I'll check tonight.
 
Any one know how to side load the play store and make it work? I have over 400 contacts I need to sync, no way I can retype them all in manually. Need a working version of Gapps, a play store apk, of something. any body have the latest version of gapps from tigraton you can upload? seems to work after a few days of running the rom and several reboots, then gapps seems to work pretty good.

Thats the one I think will work, after flashing the rom, let in run and stabilize for a day or two, reboot several times, then flash this gapps package, we should be good to go after this. Ill do it all later tonight, and report back in with my results. It's not the latest build,thats the problem. it's freakin gapps package!!!
 
Removing AOSP keyboard with TB allows the use of Google keyboard or another...

Stock messaging FC when attempting to access settings... Tried Chomp SMS and it works, still no MMS. Sending or receiving.

Remember, I'm beating it up... not criticizing. Some of these issues could be related. The more info I can provide, the more DM has to work with. I flashed after full wipe and cache/dalvik clear. Rebooted twice. Cleared caches again. Flashed updated Gapps. Rebooted 3 times. Updated through play store, synced with Google to get contacts. Added key apps. Apps have not changed anything or broken anything.
