The GPU mod was only for Gingerbread devices... this being Jellybean, I don't believe it would work since the methods it uses to interface with the underlying hardware are significantly different. However, DM did use legacy parts of GB in this... hmm...

If thats the case, that means that we could forward port some GB mods like the gpu mod later on... right?

Wrong. We only used the proprietary adreno200 libs. Other parts are still built from jellybean source. So no. Gingerbread mods will not work. However I am sure they could adapted to jellybean

Supposedly the guys that made the GPU tweaks are trying to port it to ICS and JB devices
 
Hey DM, This version is very smooth... I like... still having the same issues trying to make system settings stick... for example auto brightness... Were you able to pull any useful libs from the ICS Fury Rom?

Why are you using the andreno200 proprietary libs instead of the andreno205 libs... are they the same?
 
What other launchers can be used? Is Trebuchet the only one? I looked at other cm10 launchers but was afraid to download. Everything was pretty smooth. A lil laggy at points, but (Iknow there's still some tweaking to do). The clock thing is Killing me! LOL I really depend on that, and not having to subtract 4 hrs.LOL
For the most part not bad. I set the cpu at 1846 and sio, smartassv2. it got hot. So I backed it down to 1600. You're getting it. Just a lil tweakin left!

The clock sticks as long as you set the 24 hour format, auto time and time zone on.

But every time you lock the phone goes back to the wrong hour, when you unlock, it takes like 2 seconds to be right again.

Iv'e done that I thought. What do you mean by "locking the phone"? I've unchecked the boxes and re booted. (Sorry I know I'm a dumb ass sometimes).

When the screen turns off the phone is locked, pushing the power button turns it back on and you will see the screen lock, screen. But you already know this. :smokingsomb:

Just needed it explained is all.

sorry, duh... been a long month! Thanks LIL, I am wore the hell out. Built a custome bar for a client who is in Afghanistan, and it's a surprise gift. I had to do it dbl. time, Tired, very tired, yeah, this is what I do for a living. Very stressed out right now.

Tried to keep a check in unknown sources checked but it wouldn't stay. Turning on wifi made it freeze up. Did a battery pull wifi came on. While browsing around in the settings just looking around also made it freeze up. Other then that it ran pretty smooth. Great work

i hate the fact that iam seeing just a wife array of results from warp to warp.
but hopefully, small steps will eventually level all these issues out
 
Just a FYI , probably already known ... Under Settings/Performance/IO Scheduler I can not get any other than NOOP to be used.

Tried it checked and unchecked and many reboots but still only NOOP.

But if I use something like SetCPU it will work.

Settings/Performance/IO Scheduler just will not allow it to be changed.

Everything seems to work well , installed GAPPS with only minor glitches and then Titanium BU for my old stuff and all work.

Again 9.9 out of 10 stars ... Good work.

it could play a part... maybe not between b08c and b10 but if i where to uses PMI_b07 or 8 it may cause bugs... loading a boost rom on a public bootloader usually gives me a cpu governor error. It doesn't do it on cm but it may translate in other symptoms...

You have come a long long way, doing a great job on a not so great phone, and that has taking it to a place where I doubt the builders thought it was possible.
