New (fixed) CWM for Samsung Transform Ultra
I sought out some experience on this issue so I personally did not build this. The person responsible for building it is utkanos over in the rootzwiki forums. This guy has ported CWM to over 30+ devices and that is why I sought him out.
So thank him..
What I did was:
search for some one who could help us
asked him for his help
explained what our issues were
provided him with all the files, data dumps, and stuff he needed for building.
If you find an issue about the build and would like to report it, or ask him to make a change, he made a place for that here
All how-to's like installing and such please post here. If you would like to, you can post problems here and I will look into it further and work with utkanos personally
utkanos has uploaded this build source to his github. If you would like to view or download the source it's here
If you would like to make a donation to the developer, you can email him at utkanos@gmail.com
People we should also thank:
Interdpth For giving us the first clockworkmod, giving us root, for devoting his time and figuring out this very hard device
Bads3ctor for figuring out the problematic issue with rmt_storage and posting his results from testing
Chevanlol360 for testing, reporting, risking his phone, confirming things, and contributing his time.
Loota for testing and allowing me to teamview his computer and do some testing of my own while my TU is at samsung getting unbricked
Installation Instructions
Update from previous CWM
1. download recoveryinstaller.zip to your sdcard
2. reboot into cwm
3. select "install zip from sdcard"
4. select "choose zip from sdcard"
5. select recoveryinstaller.zip
6. select "yes"
when it finishes installing:
7. select advanced
8. select reboot recovery
you should be in new cwm now
Odin
1. download the CWM_Odin_pkg.zip
2. unzip it
3. Install samsung drivers if you don't have them already
4. open the Odin.exe in the folder
5. hit the "OPS" button and select the TransformUltra.ops file from the folder
6. select the "One Package" Button and select the build7.tar.md5 from the folder
Should look like this:
7. now put your phone into download mode (Vol down + camera + power)
8. plugin your phone and the yellow COM should light up
Now pay attention here
9. as soon as you hit start, remove the battery from the phone
10. wait until Odin finishes and shuts off the phone
11. put the battery back in the phone and boot strait into recovery
If you miss recovery, pull the battery before it boots and try again. If it does boot all the way into android, it will overwrite cwm with your stock recovery and you will have to flash it again..
