where are these files located and ill try. i have a stock backup from cwm
i tryed it tonight outside and with gps test it locked 8sats right away, And just to know if the gps icon is blinking it dosent mean it doesnt have a fix! just a low fix.
at 5 sats fixed mine was still blinking but gmaps and gps test had my location
when it locked onto 8 sats is when the icon quit blinking.
Calender works just fine and syncs with google just fine. did u installed the gapps package from page 1?
as to the sound playing on the speaker all the time, I don't have that issue. mine is the toggle mute deal and the other callers being able to hear themselves talk. i use speaker alot sometimes so this kinda bums me out. other than that i have not really found any major issues. the home back and search keys are not haptic anymore but I've got used to that already. I did notice and could be an issue is the screen not locking on calls like it did in 2.2?

1. Speakerphone/Bluetooth switching to these from a active call mutes the mic. have to press mute 2 times to unmute
2. Speakerphone has no echo cancellation? callers hear themselves talking
3. No haptic feedback from hard keys (menu home back search)
4. Lock for in a call like 2.2 where we had to push the power button in a call
myLock utilities has a in-call lock screen haven't tested it yet
im sure there is more, If people could list them like i have above we can test them and give feed back

Question for hroark13: since we now have the source code from samsung does it include a kernel .config ( i know nothing about phone rom cooking just linux) to specify hardware and options for our phones..
feature request: i know the wireless driver for our phone is called softtap and the people over at wireless-tether are working on getting AP mode to work. but my issue is AP will work. but not allow data down from the 3g network.
