Root CyanogenMod 7 Unofficial Beta 5 02/20/12

Hey hroark..i would like to flash hotfix 2 ..but the problem i had was ..i got rid of the cm7 keyboard and replaced it with go keyboard. Shouldnt i convert go to a system app? So that when i do a wipe/reset and then flash hf2 when it starts up ill have a keyboard? Otherwise with go as a data app.. it would get wiped and at start up after flashing i wouldnt have keyboard

i really dont think you have to wipe before you install hf2

it is only gonna replace some files
 
So I just got cm7. On my prevail and got my first call about bleeding up my speaker and I can't turn it down or at least candidates figure out how to has this happens to anyone

Broken English.

Nearest guess is that his first call was very very loud and even if he turned the volume down nothing happened stayed at the same volume. The rest don't understand myself guessing something about if anyone knows how to fix it.

Just put CM7 on my phone tonight no troubles so far tested everything out as much as I can for tonight going to give it a full normal work day and see how it goes hoping for better battery life will see.
 
Sorry about that .... yea with any audio turned up it sounds real bad distorted I have messed with sound settings and can't get it to stop now my keyboard is slow and maps don't work other the that I'm liking cm7 my batteries lasts alot longer then ever before thanks for the hard work and any help you might have

there is an app called DSP manager that come with the ROM, you should be able to adjust sound with that

If you installed the update to Maps uninstall the update

I can make an adjustment to the sound driver to bring the volume down


do you guys/gals think I need to do that

I just turn the phone down to 3/4 of the max volume... works well for most situations... but i like the ability to have my phone be loud especially when im certain places
 
Yea I used dsp manager and turned the first 3 equal bars down and last 3 up n now its loud with not to much Bass All I has was an updated. Maps and haven't found an older copy yet
