must have been a problem with the site cuz i was blocked as well for about an hour. anyways, so you do have a better signal on cm7 with prl 11115? I'm sure it's not the same in my area but im going to try that out too just to see.

Yeah , I am getting a better signal w/ 11115 . With CTMOD I was getting 2-4 bars , w/ CM7 I'm getting 2 bars steady now . Like I had mentioned in my earlier post , Sprint has gotta be doing some work on their towers or something . LOL . Heck , earlier today I lost the entire signal several times which is rare .

oh okay..i understood hidden menu wasnt supported with cm7 inorder to switch to sprint prl..but i wasnt aware that cm7 didnt have the about phone-update prl menu settings...still getting used to settings myself fellas

I just switched over to CM7 yesterday so your not by yourself . There are quite a few new options to learn and get accustomed to . The only reason I remembered the issue with the PRL is I read the thread several times before installing . Having a backup of CTMOD on your SD really DOES come in handy too .

i completely agree..i really like cm7 so far..no major problems..really just the small ones i create for myself lol..i keep my backup of ct also..plan on switching back and forth depending on my mood for the week

anyone else having trouble with the notifications freezing up if you accidentally do a light swipe on em? like i get a text or something and i drop down the status bar to swipe away the notification but i like tap it and it moves a lil then it freezes up and i cant do nothing with it or any notifications that come up into it until i reboot my phone.

ive never had any trouble with notifacations..But for some reason with free adw version from time to time if i accidently swyped from side to side across dock it would freeze up..delete icons and then even multiply icons when long pressed.And would not adjust setting when changed to fix it.I would have to reset adw setting like two times restart adw and then redo all settings..Sense upgrading to adw ex i have had no such issuesissues

I running ctmod so that I could change the prl and Ive found a good one that gives me great signals in places where i couldn't get nothing!
I love cm too and hopefully in the future we will be able to have full access to changing the prl from cm!
Till then Im going back and forth too!

I have had problems with the home screen sticking with EX. But it does run better than stock ADW. With that, I had lots of weird dock problems that would come and go. They were really just cosmetic and did not seem to affect the operation of the phone.

Yep the whole notification/ drop down screen freezes. And doesnt come back until you reboot.. Its done it several different times to me. trenchkato and a few others have posted the same problem so it is an issue with cm7.

adw runs very smoothly with cm7. i think the problem with the drop down menu freezing has to be with the notifications being able to be moved either <<<< or >>>> i only have a freeze when i go to click into a notification and it moves a little to the left or right then freezes up.

yep..i never had any other problems out of stock adw besides my dock bar acting loopy every once in a while..only when i accidently swyped across it ..and like i said in my previous post it wouldnt switch settings back to default untill the second or third try..thought it may have just been me

I'm having the same issue . My drop-down screen froze up on me today and I had to reboot in order to free it up . For some reason , the notification blocks are unstable . They wanna slide from side to side which is locking the screen .

I'm like you , johnny424 . ADW EX is running great so far . I hope it stays that way !! If it starts acting up , I'm gonna blame Wyelkins . LOL !! He"s the one that talked me in to getting it . I stayed up most of the night playing with all the options . I'm well pleased with it .

ikr? i've been using cm7 since hroark put out the first beta and I can't tare myself away from it. I love the themes for cm7. go to the maket and get "Theme chooser Themes" (not to be comfused with Theme Chooser) It's and app that lists all the availabe themes on the market and XDA. Just note that you should use the filter to only see MDPI & LDPI themes and NOT HDPI. check it out

The Theme chooser app that came with the ROM will not work by itself . I had to go to the market and download theme chooser themes and theme chooser wallpapers . You may need to reboot also after you install the app in order for it to show in your app drawer . That happens to me sometimes after installing a new app .

Also had problem with the old maps app I installed , it screwed up my nav app were it wouldn't Read my contacts . Uninstalled and switched to the new Telenav app . It's reads my contacts just fine . If I needed maps , I'll just bring it up with Dolphin .

yeah I read on XDA quite a bit that you should restart after installing.. then it will be in your Theme Chooser also I i read somewhere that ADW or whatever launcher you use should be set on it's default theme as well

Telenav has a new one out called " Your Navigator Deluxe " . It looks to be basically the same thing . I'm gonna give it a try for a while and see how good it is . We travel to the mountains and to the coast quite a bit and a NAV app sure comes in handy especially since I've only lived here in Cali for 2 yrs. . I'm still learning my way around this place .

EDIT : The one that I've got is the only one available for the Prevail . All the other Telenav apps will not download . It says they are incompatible .

Been there myself, done that, got the whole wardrobe not just the T-Shirt. It is tough. Anything positive and productive that you can channel your mind into is a good thing.

We are all truly blessed that Hroark choose Android and the Prevail to unleash at least a small part of his considerable talents. I think he is just getting started to show what he can do.
