Root {DISCONTINUED}MegaTron 6.2.5 (Updated 7/13/13)

I got it. I installed the first free root uninstaller that came up in play storeuninstalled everything i wanted to without any errors then restarted and perfect. Then i restored the data only from my most recent backup and bam everything is back. Texts call log etc. Thanks for the help and the beautiful rom with themes. Just wish the pink was avalable with the status bar for my wife.i think i would even install a purple theme if there was one available with a status bar.

Great, the pink theme wont be released until 6.0 is out for a major reason. It could take a while for 6.0 to get out, the beta stages havnt even started yet. I cant promise a purple theme but i'll check my bag of amazing themes to see if i have one;).
 
Titanium backup is like the best paid app on the market!!! By far!! it does like a million things you might want to do.. converts user apps to system apps with one touch, when you get an update for a system app like Maps, the update will install to data so you're left with old on system and new running from data. tibackup will auto detect that and move the update back to system.
if you have an app that you dont want to updated, tibackup will detatch it from the market so it never updates untill you say so.
It will uninstall ANY app on your system. pluss a Whole lot more Honestly, if you are a root user and dont have the pro version, you are doing it the hard way. wouldn't want to be you lol :p
next to root explorer, it's the best app on the market imo..
 
Pffft why use root explorer when es file explorer does the same thing for free and even looks cool!

does ES extract .rar, .tar, .zip, and .7z files?
does it have a text editor built in for editing scripts and build.prop?
does it have an SQLite database viewer, a linux script handeler, or an apk installer?
 
root explorer...titanium backup pro...tapatalk...

three apps i would endorse all day, first three apps i download when im setting any one of my devices backup

but i vote root explorer

Well I was only kidding but es can extract certain files.. I don't think it can do .tar. it does have a text editor I dunno about a sqlite database viewer or script handler but I install apks with it with every flash
 
i know you were kidding lol. I guess I seemed kinda like I was being a smartass but I was asking you if it did that because that might be the file explorer we put into the update for people who havent purchased root explorer but need one. I hate Myfiles.. we can put it in data so if you don't want it you can just uninstall it. not putting a bunch of apps but 2 or three might be more turnkey for someone just looking to get a better rom without doing a bunch of modding and installing. most of you are gonna put what you want on it anyways
 
I JUST FINISHED INSTALLING THIS ROM ON MY WIFES PHONE! LET ME TELL YOU THAT TODAY I WAS GOING TO BUY HER A BRAND NEW PHONE BECAUSE THIS ONE WAS VERY DAMN SLOW AND NOT VERY STABLE UNTIL I INSTALLED THIS ROM. LET ME START OFF WITH THE 3G.. ITS ABOUT 2.0-2.5 MBPS WHICH IS BLAZING FAST! IT USED TO BE 0.25-0.50 AT THE MOST!. EVERYTHING HAS IMPROVED WITH THIS ROM AS WELL AS GRAPHICS, TRANSITIONS, TWEAKS AND SO MUCH MORE. YOU FUKN ROCK MAN! THANKS AND KEEP THIS SHLT UP! ANYONE HAVING ISSUES INSTALLING THIS LET ME KNOW, ITS REALLY SIMPLE JUST HAVE TO DO IT THE RIGHT WAY.:):):):):D:D:D:cool::cool::cool::cool:
 
downloaded the newest version and have had no problems so far

my only complaint however is that i seem to get really bad signal, i mean usually i dont get the greatest where im at but its bouncing in and out alot and usually i at least hold the signal. any help man? thanks
also root uninstaller will not open on this rom either?
 
Can someone give me a good guide on how to install the new update? I have no clue at all how to do it... and btw, this is an awesome rom!!!

try mavrikmeerkats instructions. worked for me. also if u restore any apps from titanium backup do a advanced system restore in cwm.
1.) reboot into recovery.
2.) do a backup
3.) after backup go to the main menu
4.) go to mounts & storage
5.) plug your usb cable into pc
6.) mount usb storage
7.) on your pc, go to your sdcard and delete Android, android secure, LOST.DIR, and data folders. ( you can backup your whole sd to your pc if
you like)
8.) safely remove from pc and unmount sd in cwm
9.) (still in mounts & storage) format system
10.) format data
11.) format cache
12.) ( do not format sdcard)
13.) ***Go Back*** to main menu
14.) install zip from sdcard
14.) choose zip from sdcard
15.) (choose 5.3.0.zip in the list)
16.) let it run...........
17.) right after it finishes installing. (that means do not reboot yet) go to advanced menu
18.) wipe dalvik
19.) fix permissions
20.) ***Go Back***
21.) reboot system now
 
Ok so downloaed 5.3.1 update, used es file explorer and extracted the files to sdcard/clockworkmod/backup, I then booted into recovery, selected backup/restore, advanced restore, chose the new update, and then restore sytem. Waited til it was done and then hit reboot. But when I go to about phone it says I'm still on 5.3.0 am I doing something wrong here?

First time i'have heard of signal Dropping on the ROM, try re-installing it and make sure that your in a avg area where you know for a fact that you get great signal.
