Root {DISCONTINUED}MegaTron 6.2.5 (Updated 7/13/13)

Hey Chevan, is there any chance we can get you to upload that 5.3.0 fix up again? I've had the most success with 5.3.0 and the old GPS fix, under that system everything worked. I cannot get GPS working at all with 5.3.1.
 
Yeah +1 on the 6.0.. :-( just bricked my tu this morning.

Wow! Are they salvageable with Odin or just gone? We appreciate the sacrifices you are making. I think I'm gonna call the guy I got mine from. He said he had another one that he broke the screen on 2 days after buying it, however the phone works like new. Said he'd sell it to me for $25 for a spare. No promises though, it's been like 4 or 5 months since I talked to him.

No it ramp dumped his phone, he has to send it to samsung to get it repaired.
 
Also, this is more of a minor thing but it would be great if 6.0 had a sprint version so that us sprint users could take advantage of our sprint-specific apps.

Yeah Monkee, I'll take it if you can get it. I'll give you the $25 +shipping for it if he still has it. I would like to have one to test things that are dangerous without risking my new one.
 
Since it looks like 6.0 is gonna take a while as mavrick just bricked his phone and some of the data for 6.0 has been corrupted. I have decided to update the ROM for bug fixes which now FINALLY fixes the GPS problem and the Force close error you that you are all experiencing. Please read the thread carefully on how to update the ROM. The physical search button will not work untill you flash the searchbuttonfix.zip located right below the download instructions. Well thats it for now no more updates until 6.0 is released unless bugs are found and DO NOT ASK FOR ETA's on 6.0 "You have been warned". Hope you guys enjoy the new update and experience no more problems.

For starters. my phone ate my 16GB sd card. Not cool, but at least I still have the 2GB that came with the phone. Next is the force close issue. I cannot use the pull down notification bar while in a call, and if I go to the home screen I have to press the phone icon to dial a number to pull up the call again. Android system process crashes twice in a row all the time especially right after I hang up. I know you guys are busting your chops to get 6.0 out, but I'm seriously considering going back to default and putting up with the stupid press and drag glitch just to I can multitask in a call. I use this phone for both business and personal calls. WiFi is being super glitchy too. I'm not going to ask for an eta, because I check like once every 3 days to see if you guys have dropped it yet. I just thought I should make you aware of the issues I was facing and thank you for all your hard work. I know words of encouragement don't write code, but for all our sakes I hope you can get 6.0 up soon.

This ROM is great, thanks! the only thing that I don't like is how small the percentage is on the battery icon.... Everything else is awesome.
Also, the link seems to be down for the new one... I had to temperarily go back to stock because the gps wouldn't work at all and now I'm looking forward to the update. Please fix the link.

i'll look into the battery change and the link is fine, try again.
 
ill use it as long as the answer call is the same in the update with the circles i fell in love with it can anyone confirm?
