So your saying that if we need to find something, that we are able to "search" for it? How do I get this "search" thing you speak of? Is it inside CWM? Or maybe its included with CTMod? Did Kouma create it? Oh, maybe its something I need to download from the market? Whatever I got to do to get it, it sounds pretty cool.

P.S. if I do get this "search" thing, will it work with my current theme?

Thanks guys if you can help :D

lol!!! come on now! some people ask for info or stuff and its just 5 or 10 posts up and didn't even notice it or decide to look for it. still i'm always willing to help out!!:D

This is awesome. Thanks so much for your work!

At least 50% of the time when I shut down and boot up the phone, it gets stuck at the Kouma bootup screen. At first I thought it was only happening when the charger or usb cable was plugged in, but no. Pulling the battery quits the boot up and replacing it allows for a normal boot. It's been doing this pretty regularly since I installed it.
Any thoughts on what I can try?

just wipe and reflash rom and will be good. don't pull battery try holding up vol and power for a while first. pulling battery is not good.

Doing a battery pull will not hurt anything. Customer service even has you do it as a trouble shooting measure. (and many suggest it on here too, as a basic trouble shooting step)
But if you have a case on the phone, it can just get annoying to do. Holding just power for ~5 sec will do the same as pulling the battery (reboot the phone)

i never had to pull battery and kouma said a while back never do so. so was just going on what he said.

Is this as simple as a CWM backup and restore? Or are you saying reformat the SD card, reinstall CTMod and go from there?

if you have a cwm backup before this started happening then that will do but if don't then a reinstall of ctmod and fresh install of apps. reformat card will be done when install ctmod and the wipes will be done too(i forget ctmod install does it all for you) i do install then backup, install apps then backup, configure stuff then backup, ect......, see so when have a problem can revert back to what last worked or back to the start and just reload apps ect.....

take it from me guys..the only thing you can potentially hurt with a battery pull, and it would have to be many many battery pulls, is the case or back or your phone..the little clips that hold it together at the back will eventually wear out from the back being pulled off many many times..

but you could pull the battery till your hair turns grey, (unless some of you old people already have grey hair :D jk) and you won't hurt the actual phone..just the back panel that has to snap back into place..my 3d already has a broken clip on the back from me excessively pulling the back off in bootloops :(

ok then, it was kouma, maybe blood, i don't even remeber now. said not too. so i was just going by what they said. i will look and see if i can find the post.(don't remember where, may not be able to find). when one says something and noone replies differently, then (me), i think that might be right. then 3 months later, some say differently then that has me wondering and confused. i don't pull my batt anyways, but would like to hear some more devs or others answers to this?

Im running Ctmod and this kernel i was wondering if i used the data mode how could i check the sd-ext remaining size??

SD-ext space in data mode is reflected in the phones internal memory. Just check settings/applications/manage apps and look at the bar at the bottom of the screen.

But... but.... I'm only 29 and my hair is already turning grey :(

Im a newbie that just rooted my boost samsung galaxy prevail using koumakernal 2.5 and ctmod 3.68.

I have successfully created an sd-partition for my memory, but I was wondering if its possible to create a second partition specifically for RAM?

If so, how would you go about doing this and setting up the second sd-partition for ram only?
