Root [MetroPCS] [ROM][F6] Xperion ROM **Updated 2/11/2015**

Can I just flash this rom over my rooted stock Link2SD 12b and keep all the settings? I don't want to flash and then spend hours getting everything the way I like it.

No, if you have link2sd you have to set it up again after installing the rom.
 
*** Idea ***Are there system apps that can safely converted to user apps? If so, maybe the [converted] user apps could be candidates for Link2SD?
 
I'm using almost 600MB of memory on a regular basis. I need to figure out what else I can hibernate [Greenify] or deal with in some other way?
 
Anybody having issues with the home launcher crashing? In this case, it's Nova.

Crashed on me on Saturday, and I wasn't able to do anything. Kept getting crashes on a loop. Long story short, I had to reset my phone in order to get to my recover to flash a backup.

Well, that erased everything from my internal memory. No big deal. But, when I flashed my backup, the home launcher still kept crashing. This time it was the stock LG launcher. My backup is stock ROM.

I had to wipe everything and flash this ROM again. Everything was good... until yesterday, when it happened again. Home launcher kept crashing.

Again, I had to wipe and flash Xperion ROM.

**Edit** I'm not saying the issue is related to this ROM, since it also happened with the stock ROM and launcher. I'm putting this here since it first happened while running this ROM.

When you're debloated on stock rom or on any custom rom for this phone you cannot wipe data/factory reset or the launchers will crash along with some other apps.

Not much else I can say since noone's had this issue as a result of this rom.

I think I understand what you're saying. Although, I wiped after the launcher kept crashing. I had no choice since getting into recovery using the power/volume button was the only way. While it was crashing, I could not open any other app. The phone wouldn't let me. My first thought was to restore the launcher using TiBu, but I couldn't get to the app drawer. I also couldn't open my settings to go into CWM.

Now I'm trying to revert back to stock in order to re-root and begin from scratch. But my KDZ keeps freezing. I've tried downloading more .zips from here, but it won't download.

I'm all messed up. lol
 
I use an equalizer app(Equalizer Pro) instead of dsp manager when i listen to music through earphones, I like the feel and features of the app I use. But the problem I'm having is the equalizer takes effect fine when i listen music on pandora, but when i listen to my music on "google play music(the media player I prefer to use)", the app I use doesn't work, but dsp works fine. Do you have any idea why that would happen? and is it safe to uninstall apollo and dsp since I don't use them? I save my music to google play and play it through the cloud so I'm not too much interested in another media player.

DSP is designed to work only with Apollo, don't know why it works with google play music. Yes you can remove both apps. I can't answer your other questions since they involve third party apps I don't use.
 
DSP works with google music cus is configured same way MusicFX (stock)....but if u use it with stock music app will not work cus the stock music app has it own equaliser configuration. U would have to hav many equalizer apps to play with all apps on their own. Like GT said ... thats the issues with 3rd party apps

I just downloaded the Xperion Rom and put it on my phone yesterday. So far I'm liking it, I just have to flash the Kernal.

It also gave me a chance to re-partition and format my SD card again, since I made my original FAT32 too small.

Anyway, the Xposed framework, it didn't come with it, and I have to install it, but it says I could soft brick the device. Has anyone had any luck/problems with putting xposed on this phone?

I've had no problem using Xposed on my Phone.
 
GT, I'm going to reflash your latest ROM in order to get a fresh start. Does it help at all to use KDZ to go back to 12 stock first?
 
What does the WiFi calling button enable? Also, why am I receiving an error message when I toggle it enabled? It is saying I need to register an e911 number. Lastly, has anyone used a Google voice app with this? I am unable to get Mo+ working on my phone that has no network coverage.

Wifi calling gives you a psuedo-connection to the phone company's hardware using other means of connection.

Like this:
(Phone->Wifi->Internet->Company>Phone Network)
instead of:
(Phone->[Service of choice]-Tower->Phone Network)

You have to set your location for an e911 number so that if you call '911' in this 'Wifi' coverage, is knows who to connect you to.

Press 611 on your phone and enter your real address in the e911 prompt. Just had to do this myself. You'll never have to do this again after doing so.
 
GameTheory, why am I not able to toggle (enable) on USB debugging in the developer options within Xperion Rom? I am trying to do a adb restore from my PC, but can't, due to not being able to enable USB Debugging. Advice needed.

Edit: Nevermind. I was able to enable it. After restarting my LG F6. Everything is working flawless now.
