Nope. All the files in this thread require the use of Odin on your PC to flash into your phone.

dunno if anyone is working on making it CWM flashable

Everything updated (via Odin) fine, 2.3.5 working, but ...

I am recieving 'Google talk authentication' errors and Google market apps hang up at start of download. I updated superuser.

Titanium backup and Yahoo sports (1 superuser 1 not) both are hung up. I have repeatedly tried to reboot to no avail.

Thanks, Chin for doing this. I am having the same problems as kevencott. Also, My WIFI hotspot V6 will not give me internet access anymore. It connects but no internet on laptop. On the phone, the hotspot says that Sprint WIFI hotspot is not supported. I have not done anything but ODIN this file. Other than that seems to work great. I did remove the usual bloat as before. Thank God, for the Odin Packer from Kouma, as I may have to go back to my beloved Shabby .9 to have internet at home until this can be fixed.

Got to go back and reread some threads, but will a custom kernel fix this? It seems others are not having problems with WiFI.

Oh, also I do not get CWM for recovery mode, but what I guess is the standard recovery. Should I flash the CWM 5 from the standard recovery and then flash the Stick?

If I am not mistaken I believe that Kouma's kernel addresses this issue. I am using it and have no problems with wifi v6

Thanks! I will try this. I am sure that the hotspot is something that Boost is trying to nip in the bud. The hotspot button in notifications brings up a screen I have not seen before about the Sprint Hotspot and sounds like something they charge for with some instructions on use. It says Hotspot activated and gives options to change the hotspot name, security and channel. But if you change anything it says Hotspot not supported.

Is that KoumaKernal .1 for Gingerbread?

Thanks again, fellow Savannah guy!

I was having that problem too. The fix is easy.

1. Settings> Manage applications> Market
2. Clear Data
3. Uninstall Update

Now Im having troubles with google talk "google talk authentication failed". I froze it with Titanium but sometimes still appears not as often. Im using EJ06 Gingerbread Rooted Image with CWM5 made by Chin Checka.

Thanks alewis2k,

Did what you said and it worked. I havent had "google talk authentication failed" in like 2hrs. Thanx again

'Google talk authentication error'

Koumajutsu suggested I do a factory reset: easy and it fixed the issue.

Volume Up + Camera as you turn on the phone

When you us chin's odin images do you need to to do the stick.zip step? Because I just Odinned (see that, i turned it into a verb), and I have superuser, but no CWM when i volume up, power, camera. Looks like the stock recovery, and at the bottom in yellow says

E:PATH /data update_success
E:Update logfile dose not exist
# MANUAL MODE #

Hold volume up and Power for ClockWorkMod. I never tried the camera button except for download mode.

If you use one of the GB images in the first post, then nope. If you wanted to get the GB update Over the Air (OTA) then you would need to stock your phone
