Root Odin (Return phone to Stock/Factory)

But seriously folks,

I used YOUR Odin and YOUR EJ06 BASEBAND this morning to replace the piece of crap FA19 baseband running on YOUR CM7. Of course, I first backed up with YOUR CWM. I did use Kouma's Packer also to backup for good measure.

I gave FA19 much too much time to work like it should, but it never really has and I am tired of blaming it on Sprint and Boost working on towers, although there is a lot of that going on apparantly.

I can Immediately tell an improvement and it is DAYTIME! It will probably be an orgasmic increase in usability tonight, depending upon what I am browsing. I should have done this a long time ago.

Anyway, thanks again for all the stuff that you have done. And remember, you are the one that got the whole DATA on SDCARD Kick started too, that has resulted in lots more confusing stuff that works great for most people.

Whatever you are doing these days, I hope you are having a good time doing it.

Well it took a week but now I got a good signal and many bars lookin back at me. I'm using EJ06 and my PRL is 61008. Whatever they did to the tower so many miles away I guess fixed the problem. Now I have a better signal than before and I'm in a basement of a house where before the signal kinda sucked. But, all better now. just a worthless update.

My phone also seems to work better with EJ06. So far I have noticed much less quirky shit when I make or receive a call.
 
Cant seem to get my samsung drivers working,, was there an update?? If so could someone point me in their direction please.. Im still searching just thought if you guys new it would help me save a little time.. Thanks guys!!!

Lol I still having no luck to root my samsung prevail by boostmoblie. I tryed almost every thing I could think of, including everyone told me how too. Long days has passed, and still nothing. I cant get it to tether ether. Its like boost moblie dont want anyone to root or tether for some reason. Pda.net suck big ass for boost moblie smartphones and prevail, I wish I never bought this peace of shit, cause it limited by those boost ***ots or samsung corp. Do any have better luck then me?, Im about to trash this new phone. Its got the new version of FE16, sent to me last night with text message asking my to update. So I did. And all the samsung drivers including modem driver. I have some connection with the computer but I have limilted access. Im using wifi hotspot widget from google market. Dont wana by a $9 app if I cant use this phone rooted or thether. So Im testing the waters. Is there anyone can do it better then me, please please, someone help me, so I can sleep good tonight. :)

odin thread. I all ready tryed odin software. But it wont work. I followed their instructions, but I notice some of didnt make since. I downloaded KMS 4.0 to my computer, follow that instructions. But my phone seems to block all installments. But wait there is more. I downloaded busybox any tryed it. Same old stuff, nothing. And wifi hotspot from googleplay. Doest need to be rooted, far as the app description said. I installed the all the drivers for my computer, from phone to computer. I cant think of anything else I didnt do. I have windows 7 ultimate an upgrade mod from Visa home. Lol I love piratebay.org.. Lol Im really starting think that this boost prevail is totally blocking all of my installments. Cause when I was using my wifi hotspot app according to the app description and directions., my 3g data icon disappear and my phone registration failure incorrect password or user name? Im like what? Lol Idk what they talking about, cause they never gave my anything, but wifi hotspot app from play google. So I am open for suggestions.

This is for the update that got pushed out last night, corrrect? Do I have to do anything else aside from using Odin to get this new update on my phone? Will everything else stay in tact?

if you only flash the phone.tar, everything else will stay as it is. All the hub-bub is about FE16 which came out a couple days ago.

But flashing phone.tar will stop my phone from telling me there are updates?

last night i also recieve the update (7.4mb i guess) im on fa19 rooted with no roms just for the use of wifi tether. so i try to odin phone.tar only.. now my phone baseband sm820.07xfe16 kernel 2.6.35.7 build GB.fa19 & the update still popping up .. so i dunno if i done it right or i need to odin it again the whole thing. or anyway to get rid of this annoying update.. i try to use autostarts but it wont let me uncheck the update it keeps saying something about "its for the phone etc". any help guys thanks so much

I tryed unzipping the file 3 time and redownloading them again. some reason it wont unzip. I even tryed to put the files on the computer and try it that way. Still no good. Is there another better link file rether then the one you guys gave me. I have the Odin downloader ready and all the updated samsung drivers installed.

you need the odin zip not the cwm zip.
