I'm in Dallas and I've heard the same thing --- Since last Thursday. Guy said it was delayed a week. They said they got an email that day. They said it was internally official but could change. They even let me play with the phone, so I have this feeling they really didn't give a #$@$ what upper management said to say.. (which was.. AMAZING!! 30 Mbit/Sec speedtest on LTE)

I'm starting to think that the reports of people saying the phone isn't coming out Thursday are living in the sticks and their stores just won't have stock on day 1.

Try the McKinney or Allen stores, both reported to be selling them Thur.

If it isn't released Thursday morning and all we are seeing and hearing is "another delay" then im ordering the GSM version from Newegg or a Bell 32gb version from Canada and calling it a day. Get 20% off ATT bill with speeds up to 21mbps on HSPA+ (I hardly use LTE anyway).. Overnight it and be rocking my new GNex by Friday after work.. Cant wait either way.

Im going to buy a new white iPhone 4s to offset the cost of the gnex. I should make about 400 off it so I consider the whole ordeal a wash.

Sure, they didn't say it would be out, but considering a corporate store scheduled an appointment when I specifically said I wanted to the get the Galaxy Nexus, well, I consider that a good sign that they had gotten word of 12/15 release.

I'm going to try calling again tonight to double-check my appointment and see if they have anything to say officially.

Hmm. I called that store a week or so ago and they were really friendly. Got my Bionic at the one in Metro Center (F st?). If you want to hit up the RS in Columbia Heights with me tonight maybe we can both score a Nexus (as the guy told me earlier today)!

Can someone try calling a Verizon store to schedule an appointment for tomorrow?

If they say "Sure, no problem", then we'll know it's just a ploy to sell the RAZR.

Stated it was only for the Chicago land area and that it would not apply to me (I live in Denver). I have the strong feeling that anyone who got it "noted" on their account will not be getting it. If you read the promo's wording, they are linked to a phone number. Doubt they will be just handing out a $100 credit to a brand new in demand phone, but I could be wrong.

I may do the same, except I'd have to sell my iPhone to cover both part of the cost of the Nexus AND my ETF fee. Could be worth it, though.

Nope. I will remain cautiously optimistic, but not going to be excited until its there in print.

TBH I think its a bad sign we didn't hear anything official today.

What are the chances of ordering on the Verizon website on the 14th? Don't they usually put it on the website one announced with overnight shipping for release day?

My dude, I would love to bring up a screenshot but I have no idea how to view a note on an account. Tell me how to do it and I'll see what it says. All I can go by atm is what the CSR told me earlier this morning and if they were wrong I will cause a fuss because theres a recorded convo from earlier this morning that has a Rep stating I can use this promo. IF thats not good enough for them then there will be a major problem. End of story.
