Root [Port]Paranoid Android Motion[Port]

I will try this once again later today when I have the chance, once again, thank you TheDemon for working on this, this is really great :]
 
I'm downloading from my phone and media fire just reloads so I can't dl. @please at demon can you host it on google drive or drop box or 4shared or mega. com?

Im on stock deodexed version f, but I think it might be what TheDemon said because I just tried extracting the zip file and ES File Explorer said that it was a bad zip xp

You dont have to extract any files leave it the way it is and then try flashing it, it should work this time. If that doesn't work try coming from stock or cyanogenmod.

His reason for extracting was to test. If it did extract 100% that means the zip is fine. But since it didn't that tells him it's corrupted/incomplete.
He was just extracting it to a folder. ;)

Flashed new build wiped everything but wireless would not authenticate. Kept going from good to poor signal. Tried rebooting too.
 
Not the router PC is wireless and working fine rooms away. Was on wireless before flash and again now after restore. I will flash again later, the rom is fantastic. I need to buy a screen stretcher Though,:-D
 
Flashed Last Night. So far everything is running smooth. SMS works, MMS works, call volume is descent, phone super snappy, and my 4g speeds are faster than stock

I flashed from firmware F (mini-f).

Haven't tested GPS yet
 
When will todays update link be posted? I've been away for a while... I broke half my screen on my motion, just havent gotten a screen yet, so I havent done much flashing...
 
I am sorry I am such a n00b, is there a guide for this??

I've downloaded everything I need, I dont need to backup any apps/data. So how exactly do you backup your rom? Mine is stock but rooted. I am so new to this that I have no idea how to even flash the new rom. I have download Rom Manager, but it looks like it works with clockwork mod which our phone doesnt have yet right? Any advice or guide available would be great.

Since you're rooted, the recovery will be a piece of cake then. Go here: http://androidforums.com/motion-4g-all-things-root/609954-lg-motion-4g-all-things-root-guide.html and read about the 2nd init recovery. That will provide a CWM that our phone can use so you can make your ROM back up and flash the new ROM.
 
Anyone having problems getting play store to work? I just flashed over from previous build and play store opens then closes. I tried clearing data and cache but nothing and tried lowering the dpi.

Edit-nvm stupid me forgot to flash gapps
