Root [Release] Android 2.2 Froyo for the Droid X

is there a reason why i cant send MMS messages??

mine stopped sending MMS too! I even reverted to 2.1 and could send them again....until I loaded my 2.1 boostrap recovery from yesterday...now I lost it again..

Do I need to move the SU file if I'm going to update to Froyo through Clockwork???

Or does Clockwork not care about moving that file?

And should I perform a TI backup before I update to Froyo, or will that do absolutely nothing for me at all?

I would perform a backup with TI just in case you have to flash the sbf

droider is ROM Manager just a way of backing up and using roms without going into recovery mode? I have a ROM of todays Froyo and I made a ROM of yesterdays Pre Froyo.

If i went to restore "todays froyo" would it just reapply the backup I made earlier?

And if I go to download ROM, that's where I will be able to apply future roms I may want to test out? I see the droid x 2.2 one there now.

You mean Bootstrapper? The 1.0.0.3 is the most up to date and the one compatible with the leaked 2.2

I guess I got lucky then, before my usb mass storage didn't work but no it does

When I point the driver installer via Device Manager to the driver folder it says it can't find any drivers in it. Same for the ones that come with the SDK. Not worth the hastle for now since tethering is working fine via Sync mode but thanks anyways

i have froyo 2.2 rooted running on the phone, but i havn't updated bootstrap, i still have the first release for 2.1

Yep. Maybe it's just fubar atm.
Appbrain syncs ok, shows there's a Flash update available too, but market is cock blocking at the moment.

ive got that error once, i keep getting can't connect to google acct and i have to type in some silly verifaction pw to go through
