So far I have gone just over 5 hours with some text messages, checking email, and sporadic data use and my battery is at 85%. That is amazing considering that with the stock rom I remember lasting about 5-6 hours and needing to charge again.
 
No roaming, undisclosed 1GB hard data cap. Why, when you can buy prepaid from T-Mobile and have roaming and a soft cap instead at roughly the same price.

Yes, T-Mobile's prepaid plans include partner access. Look at their coverage map. I can tell you for a fact that there is no native T-Mobile service in northern Michigan (north of roughly Grand Rapids) but their prepaid map shows coverage - that's roaming on AT&T (formerly Centennial - and incidentally Centennial was pretty good. AT&T blows.) I was there this summer.
 
Soft cap = data is slow (~150kbps) through the end of the month.
Hard cap = Data doesn't work at all and/or you get banged for more money.

And now it's cheaper to boot.

I haven't decided yet, but did go get a SIM and have 2 weeks to figure out if I want to keep it or not. If I do my Triumph will be for sale and that will be the end of my work on the ROM, since I won't have the service any longer (and probably not the phone either of course.) I will of course sell the Triumph with GB loaded on it and the Froyo load on the SD card to be flashed back if the buyer wishes.

This is probably not what you want to hear, but it is what it is; Github still has my code of course and I am not going to remove it, so anyone who wants to pick this up is of course welcome to do so.

I really appreciate everything you've done for my phone, and everyone elses. I'm sorry to hear your leaving the Triumph, but I really can't blame you... I will be doing the same soon. Will Issac continue the work? Or are we stuck on an admittedly AWESOME beta?

CM7 is great! However (isn't there always), while my apps automatically synced from my Google account and they appear as installed in "Manage Apps", many are missing from my App Menu. Therefore I can't get to them. Any ideas?? Thanks
 
I upgraded to the new version (7.1.0) and my wifi no longer works. I get a error when turning it on. It actually says error. Then I can't turn it off anymore or get the error to go away. I installed this after a clean wipe. Any idea? please assist if this is a known issue, etc.

Know what I had that funny thing happen. I learned that it might just be the USB cord you are using. For some reason this phone turns it's nose up at any non-Motorola cord. I don't get it either.

Try a different cord or two, Or three...Then see if it's still broken. IF so, Then there isn't much to be said.

I have tried 4 different Moto cords, and my phone reboots everytime I press "mount usb"

I'm using the cord that came with it. And it works fine (I use it to transfer all the time). I can mount and transfer inside CM7, just not from within CWM.
 
Thanks for the hard work you did/doing for the Motorola Triumph.
Really hope you figure out HDMI before you leave :).

Still running stock :), but might jump on the gingerbread bandwagon any day now.

my phone just turned off after 25 hours and 45 minutes approximately. Truly astounding. Thanks again tickerguy. For anyone who is interested, beyond cm7 b6, I use juice defender lite and setcpu to turn down the min cpu frequency. That's about all the battery saving measures I've taken.

Same problem here, though I disregard it since setting up the Wi-fi at my university is a pain.
 
Anyone know what I am doing wrong? I did reset and cleared cache with latest upgrade. I cannot get my google contacts to sync. I flashed GAPPS immediately after installing CM7. Any ideas?

Check the sub category under your Google account. Make sure you have Contacts selected. It happened to me once, it had defaulted to only Gmail, and Picasa albums to sync.

He is talking about going into settings and clicking on Accounts then clicking on gmail and making sure the contacts tab is selected. A couple times my phone had it unselected and I was none the wiser until I looked through the accounts and found the issue.
 
I just feel the need to point out that there is nothing soft about tmobile's caps. When I had them a few months the cap would take me down to dialup speeds if I ever passed the limit and despite my contract being made before their lower caps they kept thrusting them on me (used to be 10gb and easily circumvented but got lowered to a hard 5). Not trying to discourage you from leaving us tickerguy, I've seen the map and sprints midwest coverage is pretty awful so I can see why you'd leaves, but tmobile's cap sucks
