Root [ROM] CM7 TG-Reloaded (Final: 03-25)

You need to fix the things that don't work first before going on to add new features. I am not installing any mods if the HDMI does not work and the BT and WIFI cannot be used together for obvious reasons. These things need to work in order for me use my phone.

If these things have been fixed, please let us know so we can start installing the software.

Oh really? And what makes me "need" to do this? And what makes me have any interest in you running this ROM? None. You may stay with stock and direct your complaints to VM & Motorola, tell them what they NEED to do since you purchased a product from them. You & I don't have any such agreements. This is all done on my volunteer free time. The problems that exist are not exactly easy without proper documentation from the manufacturer.

Don't hold yer breath, dude.
It's been made abundantly clear, many times, that these things most likely won't get fixed before cm 9, and no guarantees even then. The proper source just isn't available.

Even with less than a day of testing that new kernel, the screen feels MUCH more reliable and MUCH more precise. You're the man, Whyzor. And I apologize on the behalf of jerks like murphylas who come in here with their entitlement attitudes. Motorola and VM should be paying you and all the others who have made the Triumph the beast we all thought it would be.

The people who make things for this phone and then post it here for us to use (i.e. the dev's) do so in their own free time :D. As far as what a ROM/Kernel/Theme/Whatever includes is up to the person making it, and what THEY WANT from it themselves. Please be aware of this :). It is fine to make a request, but a DEMAND  is very rude. I don't want people I don't know to demand I do things for them, do you? I don't think anyone wants other people to tell them what they have to do in their FREE time. Please be respectful of that. :)

I completely understand that you want HDMI to work, or to be able to use Wireless and Bluetooth at the same time. Those issues can be frustrating if you want/need them . But not everyone here (including the people giving us stuff) shares those same priorities. The best we can do is be understanding of others. If we do want something the best way to go about it is to ask nicely :).

It is also probably best for others to be respectful of others even when they seem rude/mean/whatever. No need to call anyone names or any of that ;).

Also, Whyzor, it might be good to add a thread for your kernel or to add it to the first post for those casual skimmers ;). That way people don't miss out.

I am about to test it on my build of CM7, I will let you know what I think.
Especially if it stinks :p
I mean especially if it is good. lol :D

Damn you for making me click twice to see what you wrote!!! I didn't post it in #1 because it's still experimental, and I think I have another idea worth implementing and then testing some more. When I'm sure it makes things better, I'll be sure to share it, even for those who don't bother to read all of MY IMPORTANT BLABBERINGS ;)

200kbs dl. 1mb ul. Wtf

You forgot to add "... Virgin Mobile". Their data rates are inconsistent throughout the day and locations. This ROM doensn't do anything different with the radio part since... well, last year on TG's original version.

MWAHAHAHAHA! :p

Makes sense. Let me know if you want a superb tester. :D

can i delete the 93MB file from my phone for TGCM7 mod after its installed and working?

If you are talking about the .zip file that you installed from. I would keep a copy on my computer just in case. And I keep a copy of something else just in case I run into something unstable. That way if I have problems, I can run something until I can figure it out.

but can it be deleted to free space while not effecting the OS?

aka normal boot/CM7 settings blah blah

Yes. But it should be saved on your sd card, so space shouldn't be too much of a concern unless you're that strapped for space on your card.

i did kinda forget it has been on the SD card the whole time >_< my bal fellas thanks for the reply's

1 last question tho ive heard CM7 has a pretty good RAM manager so should i even bother with a task killer ?

You don't need a task killer on any of the Triumph ROMs.
