Touchscreen has performed flawlessly for me since this last update. Thank you! Also, battery life is fantastic! No complaints here. Great work!!

Yes all of those are still safe to remove, I do them every time personally since I don't use them.
Hey, is anyone else having an issue completing the download of the new build, or is that just me? Tried about 5 times, no luck. Is there perhaps a mirror?
Just tried it and it downloaded fine.
is anyone else having an issue with the phone rebooting its self after being on the charger then being unplugged? my phone sits for a few seconds then freezes then reboots then after it its all good.
it started happening after I flashed the latest build. is this something anyone else experienced? and if so is there some sort of fix? only thing I did different this time is I didn't wipe anything I just flashed the latest zip over my then current cm7.
how hight are you overclocked? and what Governor are you running? try lowering you overclock frequencies...
and if you underclocked raise them
also, are you undervolting?
not doing overclocking or undervolting all that is set stock when first flashed.
governor is interactive, min cpu 245, max 1024.
Could anyone confirm if auto-dim works with the new rom? i.e., before the screen idles off completely, it should dim for a few seconds, to let you have a chance to bring it back with just a screen touch.
How do you delete those files?

I just tried out these settings. I thought I had mine set pretty well...but these are MUCH better! I have a couple of additions: on the lowest brightness setting, I have the keys set to the lowest setting (4; any lower and they turn off), so that they're not too intrusive at night. On all the higher brightness settings, I just have the keys off since there's enough ambient light to see the keys without backlighting them. Also, since that lowest screen setting of 26 is a little bright when I'm using my phone in bed at night, I use an app from the Market called Screen Filter. It allows you to filter the screen at any percentage to make it less bright. I have it set to a long press of the menu key so I don't have to leave whatever app I'm using in order to turn it on..........
New build uploaded, updated graphics driver, up to 2x the framerate (let me know if you notice any game improvements other than just nenamark2 benchmark).
As usual, see post #1 for link & #2 for changelog. Also don't forget to wipe cache & dalvik-cache before flashing (it keeps your apps & settings).
ROM seems to work fine except for one major issue - the phone is not connecting to Virgin Mobile's network. Going to try clearing data then reflashing. When I initially flashed I only cleared /system, and the two caches.
EDIT: Okay I've cleared data and the phone is still not connecting to the network? Please help?
EDIT 2: The problem might not be the phone itself - someone else in the house has the same carrier and they are getting no signal either. Perhaps tower upgrades in the area....
I did:
use a stock Motorola Triumph nandroid backup.
boot to CWM
wipe data/factory reset
format cache
install CM7
install gapps
reboot
