Root [ROM] CM7 TG-Reloaded (Final: 03-25)

I'm having battery draing issues; I'm losing 10% every 45 minutes just listening to music downclocked to 576mhz. I have flashed 3/4/12 2 times with factory reset. however, I have yet to redownload it. anyone else noticing this? I had exceptional battery life with 2/18/12. this post used 4%...

Just a note, I have never had any restarts or major battery drains with my phone on any of the builds. Been on the latest 03-04 for a week now and even downloaded a few games they all run fine, Shadowgun & CHAOS runs impressively well on the MT (the newer GPU drivers probably helped)

There's a chance your download was corrupted, or some setting wasn't wiped clean or some new apps (like the new Google Play upgrade) messed something up. Do a md5sum check to be sure. CWM by default doesn't do any verification of a ROM when flashing it.

Not sure if any one has had this problem but auto rotation wasnt working for me on 3/4 build went to 2/18 and it works now any way great work thank you for you on going work wish i could build like you.

Is there going to be an update done to the rom anytime soon? Only asking because if there is I will wait for the update and then flash it but otherwise I will redownload 3-04 and see if it was a bad download before. And can I just delete the zip file of the old version when if I redownload?

on 3/4 build

overclocked to 1.5ghz. No issues so far (been 2 days).

I may build again on sunday night, no major updates planned. And yes the rom .zip may be deleted from the sdcard after it's flashed. But you should always have a working nandroid backup stored.

Also if you're curious what changes are coming in CM7 upstream, go to: http://r.cyanogenmod.com, look under the gingerbread branch. Open are still in review, merged means it'll be included in next build.

I've had autorotate stop working on some of the builds. When it happens to me it's only some apps (like the browser, es file explorer, and camera), but not others. A reboot fixes this for me. I have checked the accelerometer and it seem it's working. I have noticed that it doesn't stop on all apps, just some.

I guess I'll try to do more dilligent testing to see when and why it happens.

I switched from MIUI to this ROM a while back, but now I've decided I like MIUI more. I really miss the graphics drivers from this ROM/build.prop mods as well as your kernel. Is there any possibilty of a MIUI implementation of both?

PS: Thank you for all your work on this ROM, I thouroughly enjoy it every time I switch back, and it regularly serves as my alternative ROM.

You'd have to convince a MIUI developer to take what I've changed (it's all published on my github) and port it to a MIUI ROM.

Alrighty, I suppose I'll look around
It's probably time that I started to learn some android development skills so I can contribute here more. :)

Normally in terminal emulator type 'md5sum <file>'. But since you don't have a working ROM, download it on a PC, google for a "md5sums" windows program, or it's built-in to linux. Then copy the ROM file onto the sdcard (which could also be bad). But downloading onto PC over regular internet & then copying onto phone over wire is the most stable way. Downloading ROM zips over VM's 3G data network is the least reliable way.

i usually avoid 3g and im running linux mint but unsure how to check md5sums

hey just wanted to say thanks again. i have been running cm9 for about a month but came back to your rom because. it is just so much smoother and faster. :-D

And the camera works!

Whyzor, is V6 supercharger built into this rom, or is that something we need to do on our own?

This break thunderprop for anyone? Can't figure out if its the rom or the new Google play that is breaking my thunderprop. My build.prop is fine when I check it in the system folder, and after force stopping and clearing data, it still shows up as a triumph

I bought Modern Combat 3 yesterday and wasn't able to try it until today. It says my device is not compatible with this game, please request a refund. Oh well, only .49 but I'd still like to play it. Has anyone successfully got it to play on the Triumph? I'm still running the 2-02 build.

So wonder if it really is breaking thunderprop, mc3 worked fine for me before when i was using a different cm7 rom
