Root [ROM] CTMod 3.80 (04/06/13)

just posted how to setup koumamod.apk and activate swap since it keep coming up.

koumamod included in ctmod 3.6 is an old buggy version and was not made by blood anyways so questions should be directed to kouma threads or tutorial post
 
Sometimes when I unplug my headphones my phone calls someone from my call log. From what I can tell, it is usually the last person I talked to. Is anyone else having this issue? (Got me in trouble this time...gf answered the phone when I didn't realize it was calling anyone only to hear a woman's voice and me laughing my @$$ off.)

thats the way gingerbread is, stock does the same thing.

I haven't found what causes it.

I don't remember the stock rom doing this, but I really only used the stock rom for about a week or two before the fa19 update bricked my phone and I found you guys here. I couldn't be more happy that my phone bricked. :-)

I don't know if these fixes are a benefit when using a non stock rom.

So you were using fa19 and now your using ej06 your on one or the other from Waugh I know at least you can't really be "using fa19 with the ej06 baseband" you were on one and now your on the other. They don't mix.

Right?

You can easily use the ejo6 baseband with the fa19 everything else.... But once you change to a custom ROM, the everything else gets changed (system, kernel, etc)

But here it is.
The chrome browser crashes with every link I click. Then starts up the second time I click the link..

I'm getting annoyed. So
The question
Is

Can you recommend a browser?
Any good ones out there? Free...
Just wanna avoid crashes.
And keep a clean web surfin' feel.

I had the same problems and I switched to the stock browser
 
other than crash on first link click chrome good browser. super fast and only browser I could get to play nice with mediafire.even on desktop opera dolphin and stock wouldn't work for that site.

wow, this Chrome Modded version works great for me...strange. no crashes, its a bit laggy some times, but no crashes. might be your setup?

im not on SSM mode.

it's a system apk so that shouldn't matter. seems to me if I leave UA as Android when I exit chrome when I click link in phandroid there no crash. if I wanna download from mediafire (just one example) I gotta change to desktop.when I exit chrome (still as desktop) and return to phandroid my next link click is crash but second try work.
anybody confirm this observation?
if so...
my thinking is no crash if change to Android before leaving chrome. which would mean chrome changing to default Android UA every time you leave apk as possible solution for fix in update. always work second try and don't happen to me every time just some

Didn't mess with it after reflashing CTMod
Since SSM wasn't working fully for me. XD didn't know how to set it up.

so you don't have latest update? newest chrome I've seen is like 1.1mb or less
and what your setup then if you couldn't get ssm working?

we should move browser discussion to new thread maybe to keep this open for ROM and this topic come up allot anyways. all updates I've seen been random posts anyways so it'd be nice to get link up in case I missed one
