As far as I understood the dev ( Bloodawn ), there will be no more major update to CTMod..... however, Bloodawn mentioned, if he has time, he might make a final update with "one" more surprise-feature (and maybe some updated programs), but I don't think the dev will work on continiously updating CTMod and implanting new user requests, since he's working on other projects.

However, I could be wrong ! ;) Time will tell.............

How could I mod it myself? I have no programming experience. I would like to integrate all of the things I listed in my post.
 
Well, without experiences in programming, scripting and development, I think you can't !

See, I have a Jeep Cherokee, but even if I wanted, I couldn't make a race car out of it, since I don't have the experiences to do so ! ;)

There are several different themes on here for ctmod that do a few of these, primarily changing the progress bar color and size. Ice mod and green mod are both pretty sharp and definitely change this up. Check out a few different ones to see what you like.

There's always UOT Kitchen too. Making your own theme for CTMOD is easy once you watch some of the tutorials. You can find the tutorials by doing a Google search. . :D
 
Hi everyone - first time post here. I want to first say thank you to the entire community because CT Mod is a GREAT solution for me on my LG Marquee on Sprint SERO. So, thank you.

I have a rather specific question. I like the barebones idea behind CT Mod and I am trying to figure out how to get my Microsoft Windows Live email to sync properly in Android.

I downloaded an app called Aquamail which does not seem to do the trick. It is pretty good but I have to manually delete all my email from the phone, if I delete them from a different source. I have heard that I can use Microsoft Exchange Activesync, which would be available under a normal install - but when I go to select add a new account, the only account that is available under the general settings (not in Aquamail) is Gmail.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, even if it is an app request. Note, that I am aware of the Hotmail app, but I don't want to use it as it has ads and reviews are poor.

never tried setting up my Windows Live on the phone..... So the only suggestion I have ( not sure if it works ) would be K-9 Mail...... Free at the Play Store !

EDIT : May wanna try this one from the Play Store to : "Windows Live Hotmail PUSH mail"
 
That app seemed to work. Thank you. My only gripe is, its pretty ugly, and I cant add my other email addresses to it - so I need to have two email programs running at once..

But cest la vie - us Windows boys cant get everything we want :)
 
Which one did you try ? K-9 or the other one ? I use for all of my pop mail accounts ( like 5 of them ) K-9 mail and for Gmail I use the Gmail app from the store !
 
I used the Windows Hotmail app -- seems pretty good...I read up on K9 and it has the same limitation as Aqua - only POP3 support for hotmail (hotmail doesnt do IMAP I believe) if someone has IMAP settings for hotmail, let me know :)

AFAIK Hotmail does EAS and POP3, with the latter not syncing with the server..
 
I just did a quick Google search of : Hotmail IMAP settings

It seems like there are some people who have setup Hotmail accounts via IMAP on their iPhone..... Might want to look into that as well..... If you find a GREAT solution, let us know ! ;)

This is exactly what I did to change the very same download bar in CTMod. Literally took me all of 5mins once I learned how to use UOT kitchen.

Or try Dragon go. I got as add-on with Swype beta installer but might be on market idk

My friend, bought the samsung galaxy s2, so I've been given his ok,good conditioned, prevail.

So, I want to reset it back to factory...so,sell it, I'm looking for a legit boost rom/ original to the phone before being modded so I can flash it back.

What would be the best..fastest way..

Flash the old boost img from clockwork recovery..?then maybe force a OTA update..
I flashed it back to ctmod 2.4, ota popped up for a f19 update...battery was too low to do it,after work, it should be good enough to update..

I just can't believe how much faster this phone is now. This phone is my gf's, but when I get a chance to play with it, I'm just blown away by the difference in speed and smoothness.

Great work!

One issue, and this bugs my gf not me..
I read in this thread that the "screen lock during call" feature is gone in this ROM, are there any recommended apps to get the function back? All I could really find is MyLock Utilities. Has anyone used that on the prevail, does it provide a good solution for face dialing? Any other options?
