Root [ROM][FINAL] CM7 7.2 RC1 - g60 style [7.11.12]

A simple tweak that should be doable is putting in Roboto as the default font. At least I hope it's simple...

Ok, due to hassle and confusion, I updated the Zeam mod thread.

If you still want the modded Zeam with r0.7 just install the updated ROM. Zeam will be gone. Then install the modded Zeam apk (bottom of zeam mod post) as any other apk.

If you have already installed stock zeam, uninstall it.
If you've already figured out an alternative method, this won't gain you anything.

Should work with any ROM.

The modded Zeam will be installed as a user app, and will survive ROM updates, if you don't wipe data.

Haven't tried since Whyzors final, but will soon... great job on keeping this alive:D:thumbup:

Thanks! Yeah it's coming along, I got the Camera fixed in r0.8 which I will release before the weekend. Sadly I could not fix the source code to the camera do to all the commits. After I rebased multiple times it just wouldn't build. I even tried to back peddle to TickerGuy's source and it still wouldn't build. After about 12 builds that failed on the camera I just snagged the Camera.apk from TickerGuy as all features work fine with that version of the camera.

It doesn't have the focus fix but at least the Camera works. I will come back to this when time permits as I have another Quad Core 2.0Ghz Xeon Processor coming by next Monday for the workstation. Next up is some RAM so I can build faster. The 30 minute period between builds should drop in half so it's should be easier to test, build, test build. Sucks waiting 30 minutes just to have fail :banghead: got to love Development LOL. Anyways it's 1am in the morning and I am rambling.....

beautiful widgets aren't loading anymore, i've tried reinstalling them, but still no load, can anyone confirm this, worked ok on v5-6

BetterBatteryStats will show any wakelocks that my be holding up the system. I would start there.

I got BetterBatteryStats and one of the culprits is WLAN_lock, which seems to be JD Ultimate's fault for not shutting down the WiFi when screen turns off. Do you guys know any good app that turns WiFi off when screen is off? That's the main reason I'm using JDU.

The other culprit is bq275x0 and I have no idea what that is. I'm guessing it might have something to do with the 360 Launcher (i'm running r.04).

What launcher seems to have the best response on this rom? Zeam has been working pretty well for me. My wife has go launcher and it seems laggy to
me.

I just loaded this rom and I like it! Nice work! I like that it doesn't have too many frills.
You've allowed us more custom options this way. Very Nice! I'm so glad you took up
the torch from Whyzor. I am a fan of his work & advice with the OV posted on Android
Central. The MT is a good phone, now made better! Thanks.

I love 360 because it's so crisp and fluid but I don't use it anymore. I stick with Zeam as it's very fast and very clean and I love that it's only 384k so it doesn't take up a lot of space. It's not the most attractive launcher but it does the job for me :D

I don't know of another program that will turn off wifi, but what I use is the notification widget. Very fast and if I'm on wifi, the I probably want to connect to my network. Or a big download.

I've used both. Zeam seemed fine,I just prefer the features of go launcher. As for laggynes, you could yet to play with the settings on your governor to smooth it up. I use interactive with a 300 power save and a 65 load setting.

I made the launcher switch from stock to LauncherPro+ to ADW to 360 and now Zeam. I feel like a launcher connoisseur! Two apps that I have added to Zeam that help me out are Smart Shortcuts that allow you to add all types of viaually appealing folders, and Desktop VisualizeR which allows you to change the icon image of an app or widget. Both are available for free on PlayStore.

I find this ROM (R0.7) be the most stable, fastest, and the most battery efficient MT CM to date. Built on the hard work of many a good dev including the latest - G60. Thanks!

Does Smart Shortcuts allow you to change the look of folders on the homescreen? I have that app but it seems to only be wanting to change folders on the SD card, not the homescreen. Would still love to get clear folders but don't want to have to use Go launcher to do it. I like the smoothness of Zeam.

If I understand your question, the answer is yes. Each of my four folers, that have nice descriptive icons, have from 4 to 15 applicatons residing inside. All these exist on my homescreen. You can view my homepage using Smart Shortcuts by clicking this link: ImageShack

I still have the low volume issue most of the time. I have to reboot and kill all of my apps a few times before the volume goes back to normal.

More than likely it's an app causing the problem. The sure thing is to do a factory wipe, and wipe dalvik cache then load the ROM, & Gapps. Reboot and test the sound out. Easy way is to listen to music and go into the setting and sound and pick a ring tone and play it at the same time. If it's working slowly add one app at a time through the play store and not from backup. Test one by one and find which app is messing it up.

How did you get those icons to set up as homescreen folders? I think I figured out how to make and populate the folder. Just can't get it onto the homescreen.
Edit: figured it out!
