Yes basically the market, or even another ROM. You can simple play and test around until you find what you like. You get something working good release it

Altho im sad to see this is your final CM7 version, and i do usually prefer CM7 over stock, simple customization and CM7 Settings
seeing all the things you did to CM7 after taking the keys from Whyzor, gives me big hopes as to what may come of your new project

Are the wallpapers you removed from this build the same ones seen when you long press the home screen (with Zeal) and select "wallpapers"?
If so, I like those but would like to update to the final build. Where are these wallpapers located in previous builds so that I may add them into r11 before flashing?

on the website, there is a Removed apps section, i know that the themes and the CM7 wallpapers are there
also some of the other wallpapers were just moved so they show up under the old stock wallpapers button when you long press
not sure if the exact ones you like are there but there atleast 2 places to start lol

The only thing is that I flashed r0.11 yesterday and everything was working absolutely perfect but then I tried to use the front-facing camera for pictures and it seemed to force close on me. I tried to open it again but I had a message saying: "Cannot connect to camera." It seems the only way to get the camera working (front and rear) was to reboot the phone. Video recording works fine with the front camera but taking pictures doesn't. The rear camera works fine also with taking pictures and videos. I even tried wiping data/factory reset and flashing the rom again but it didn't seem to help.
I'm wondering if anybody else has encountered this problem?

Same here. Tried to switch to the front-facing camera and the camera app just froze. I have no camera now. Every time I try to open it, it is in the same frozen state as before. Haven't tried wiping and re-flashing yet.

well i know other CM7's had an Issue with the camera's only when switching from back to front, but i had thought it was fixed, maybe not tho
as for the person who has it stuck in the frozen state, you can try going into applications>manage applications> find Camera.apk and force close it
if it still loads in the frozen state do the above and force close it but also, clear data

I have the same issue.
Mine also goes out of focus when I try to take a picture or switch to the camcorder mode. Initially, it is focused, but as soon as hit the button to take a picture, instead of becoming a clear image, the image become blurry.
I have to turn the auto focus off to get a clear picture.
I just get blurry image for camcorder.
The strange thing is: I went back to r0.7, r0.10 and stock rom. All fresh installed from factory reset and out of focus persist. I wonder if this is my phone.
Anyways, g60madman, I sincerely appreciate the effort you put into this rom.

if i recall correctly, somewhere between r0.07 and 0.10 the camera broke again and g60 had to re fix it, the problem may lie somewhere in there
as for auto focus, im pretty sure thats a cm7 thing in general, i usually dont use my camera so i dont change any settings, which means auto focus is on and anytime i open an app that can access the camera i can feel the phone slightly vibrate cause the camera is trying to focus even tho im not tryin to take a picture, and i dont even have the camera open lol
but since i dont use it its not a big deal for me, for the best camera pictures a froyo rom should be better

so far i havent used any roms besides cm7,cm9, and aosp, so i cant speak for the froyo roms, but i can say outta the ones ive listed ive used, none take pictures as good as the stock rom with the camera set to 1080p mode

could mean a hardware issue with the camera, i haven't run stock on our device in so long lol i know it has auto focus, but you dont also have to hold the take picture button for it to focus do you, cause ive seen some devices that do
again lol haven't run stock in so long i forget, just throwin the idea out lol

Unless g60 is going to do it. I still have a lot of learning to do as far as programming goes, and between work and family, it's hard.
G60, are you going to leave the site up that you have right now? And your github?
If anybody want's to help develope cm7, I can walk them up to my speed. That way we can learn together.

G60 isn't leaving, atleast as far as i know, he's switching projects, to [ROM] [ALPHA] Gingerbread 2.3.4 - Mobster Style [06.08.12], ill guess yes hes atleast keeping the site cause his new project is already on it
and the person that i suggested the camera may be the problem said they restored a stock nandroid backup or loaded a stock rom and the camera was still not working, and as far as i can imagine, if the stock rom loaded 100% correctly and the camera still didnt work its probly hardware, altho it could always just be the apk not playing nice lol
Currently your best and probly most stable bet for a HDMI working rom would probly be a stock rom or just a froyo rom
i usually run only CM7 so i personally cant say what the best i think is, but B_randon has i believe a few froyo roms that have gotten very good responses from the users so you can atleast begin your search there

Yeah, that's my favorite one.
My stock camera seems to be working fine, but Camera Zoom Fx is much better.

I liked Camera Zoom but found ProCapture was faster and caused fewer issues. Plus it has panorama mode. My stock camera also works OK.
Well, if anybody's willing to teach me how to code something, I'll help out with getting this thing updated. I currently know nothing about coding, so it may take a while for me to learn... But I'm willing to do something if push comes to shove! I have lots of free time right now, too.
I also just noticed my camera also won't focus at normal distances, only macro shots, on r10. If restoring to stock still didn't fix it, does that mean there was an update somewhere down the line that permanently ruined some of our cameras? I used to be able to fix focus issues with my camera by simply pressing directly down on the sensor progressively more firmly until the focuser got unstuck, but that isn't working anymore. As noted by others, I have to shut off the screen so the camera unfocuses, unlock it and load Camera360 and set it to permanent "infinite distance" focus and then take the picture.

[ROM] CM7 Ryder Remix?
I am soooo not a developer. If I was to name it, it would be CM7 Community Style.
I know how to build it and add and remove people's commits. That's if they haven't done what I have done. I goofed some of my history up so it can't be tracked unless you know where it came from.
Also, I think there may be DEVs like g60 or b_random who may come in and help from time to time.
Maybe if I learn enough I can work my way up, but that's not now. I'll get it eventually.

I can help you, and anybody get to where I am in this game. I don't know a whole lot, but I can build and I can read.LOL
The most of the changes I've made are from just reading where the code looks like it's going and then checking, and checking, and checking.
Most of it is stuff like (inherit yadayada.mk) then look there and see another file to look at and see what they are looking for. Some stuff is refering to some variable, so it takes a moment to find the variable and "parce" what it's looking for.
Still a big learning curve for me, but fun and frustraighting at the same time.
