I did this and it fixed my force close problems use root explorer are something like it to go to system/apps and find the Swype Apk and click it to reinstall Swype to the version before the update but later Swype may say there's an update but don't update are you will have the same problems .

When I decide to reboot the phone I loose about 30% battery...any ideas why? I did a full charge / battery wipe this morning.

Can someone please clarify how to boot in to CWM I thought that i was following the instructions correctly from playfulgods's post but i guess not?? Here is how i am doing it and failing:

Phone is ON.
I hold down the PWR and both volume UP and DOWN keys (3 buttons all together)
The Airplane Mode, Power Off, etc screen comes up.
I continue to hold the three buttons.
I release the buttons when the screen goes dark.
I press the power button 3 times when i see the LG logo.

I do this and it just shuts itself off and i get my battery charging screen (because its charging)

I installed the AIO root and CWM RC as instructed http://androidforums.com/roms-playfulgod/462079-cwm-rzr-root-aio-root-recovery-lg-esteem-ms910.html <--- there..... it attacked my phone with some zerglings (just like a zerg rush in starcraft 2 or 1) and it said successful after it rebooted my phone.

I do NOT see CWM in my applications list.

What am i doing wrong?

Thanks in advance for any help!

You want the phone completely off. Press and hold the volume keys then press and hold the power key till it vibrates. When it vibrates let go of the power button and continue to hold the volume keys. You will then go to a black screen with white letters. Disregard anything that screen says and just hit the power button 3 times. Then the phone will reboot again and youll be in cwr

Heck yea man. I'mma try this as i'm waiting for my headers and exhaust to get put on mah car. CHEAAAAA! GO ANDROID FORUMS!!!!!

+1^^^^ yup, i just used this. i have never done those power+vol combo method, so yeah. Simply download quick boot, open it and select recovery. That will take you to recovery directly!

It's probably a good idea to learn how to get into your own phone's recovery using the button method, worst case scenario (anything happens to your phone) that might be the only way to get into it and working again. :D Really not that hard, I must admit it does seem unnecessarily complicated but I'm sure the devs have a reason.

RESPECTFULLY Lmao @ exitprogram trying the button method while phone was on. xD

Amazing ROM, haven't gone above 1.6 but that's more than enough for me. Only complaint I have is the theme and I can't seem to change it without some part of it still being there. Guess I'll have to go back to 1.0 and just flash the kernel.

You know I just followed Shiny's ghetto ass tutorial on another thread xD and I could only get the window animations to change with my zip. I included the power buttons too but only the animations did. Anyone else get a similar issue?

and easier way is using the following command if it's connected via usb and you have a folder with adb in it (like the one with the clockwork AIO recovery):

adb wait-for-device
adb reboot recovery

I did this right after my phone rebooted after installing clockwork.

hey guys, I just tested the rom and it rocks. Is there any app out there that can reliably change system wide themes? surely there must be some app with tons of different themes to try. never really messed with those just to be safe because i know it's got to do with the framework resources apk, most of it looks pretty dope :)

I just want to get rid of the notification bar transparency because it's distracting when there's any kind of text in the back, change the separator's color so it's a little more subtle/darker, and change those toggle button icons to something a little more simple that I don't really have to look hard at to figure out what it is. It just feels like it's gonna punch me in the face haha :D

Am I the only one that has the recovery option in my power off menu? Im just curious as to why everyone is using Quick boot or other apps when you can just hold the power button for 2 secs then select recovery.
