Not sure if this is a rom issue or not but I cant find any solutions for it and never had this happen on any other rom. My issue is my mobile data keeps turning off, I have full service and Mobile data is checked but I keep loosing connection. Only solution I have found is putting the mobile data widget on my home screen and when i loose connection I just click it twice to reset it and its fine again. I would say it happens about every 10-15 minutes so it is quite annoying.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
UPDATE: Tried a second data profile and prl update on a whim and seems to be running just fine. Has been on for over an hour now not sure if the 1st go didn't take or what.

Hopefully custom kernels are just around the corner and that should help the varying battery problems with GB Sense roms. I for one, get pretty decent battery life but I feel when the custom kernels are available then battery life greatly improve

Hmm...I havent had this issue. The only thing I can think of would be to check in wireless & settings that mobile data is set to "always on". But I think it is by default, you may want to double check though.
The only "issue" i've had with this rom is I have to pull the battery then put it back in before I can get into recovery. But other than that *knock on wood* this seems to be a very stable rom.

Make sure Fast Boot is unchecked on your phone. Supposed to be turned off be default on 1.3, but I know on 1.2 I was having the same issue till I turned off the Fast Boot setting. If I remember correctly, it is under Settings -> Applications and there is an option for fast boot. Make sure it is unchecked

well..still on the previous version 1.02 so these may be fixed but random issues
bluetooth randomly disconnected (only once)
Sense crashed (only once) you know where you hit the back button it it goes through all sorts of stuff that was in the background..but only the home button will reload sense.
got one reboot somewhere in there...

oh battery today...off the charger for almost 12 hours so far.. 66%
definitely draining faster than normal. I typically leave work at about7 with 70% and use the phone heavily for a number of things.

well the only way to tell for you is to try it. every phone is different and reacts differently to roms and kernels. just make sure to make a nandroid backup that way you can always go back if you do not like it. i know from experience that this rom is much more smoother then myn's. mik roms are awesome and this one is great. with the stock kernel i noticed that i was getting decent battery life. if you use setcpu and use a smartass govenor you should be good to go. try it out. just remember that nandroid backups are your friend.

Sorry for the noob Q but my PRI is 1.9 and my uptime matches my awake time.
So should I flash the new radio, or are you talking about flashing an older PRI only?
Other than that and no more Netflix, I am digging this ROM.
BTW you should never update PRI in the update settings right?
yeah roll it back to 1.77 and that should fix the problem. leave the radio alone.
have you tried wiping cache and dalvik cache? also when you installed the rom did you do a full wipe?

Ok I have been on this ROM for the last three or so days, and I really really like it, but the battery life is downright terrible. It seems to be a lot better when using Wifi, but lots of 3G time and/or phone calls makes it drop like a rock. I was about half charged this morning, had some calls in the AM and had to charge because I was down to like 9%, charged to about 75% and I'm back on the charger since I was back down to 14% with talk and 3G internet surfing.
All the features are great, but a custom kernel is desperately needed here. SetCPU makes the phone sleep great, but the awake time is not good at all, and I'm even underclocked.

Been off the charger since 6:45 am here its almost 5 now with 30 minutes of straight use on lunch and a weak signal at my work. 75% still.
yeah not sure for me if it is the new stock kernel or the new radios but man since the ota my battery life sucks. i am gonna go back to my cm7/tiamat rom/kernel combo and see how life is with the new radios.
weak. I checked real quick on his forums and didn't see anything about downgrading prl or people having issues.

most roms/kernals don't work well with my phone. This new gingerbread stuff is working excellently for me. Can't believe the "same" phone acts so differently
yeah unfortunately that is how most phones are. there are a lot of factors that go into what is making your phone perform better then others. same goes with kernels. well glad the latest ota has helped you. now off to try cm7 and tiamat kernel and see how well my new radios perform.

My battery seems worse too, but I'm not sure if it's because I'm using it more as it is like a new phone to me, or my apps, or the new Sense since I have all the animations working. My phone is sleeping. I didn't have good battery life before this ROM so I'm not sure. I did see some people complaining about battery life here: theMikMik.com • View topic - Battery life sucks. I just washed my car and had Google music playing and was surprised it didn't drain the battery. I also saw someone somewhere downloaded BatteryCalibration from the market, which I did yesterday. Maybe that will help a tiny bit?

that app looks like it just wipes battery stats which we can do in recovery. but i never used it so maybe try it out. and as far as battery life i always try and give the setup a few days and charge cycles. cause if you are like me (and it does) anytime i have something new i always spend more time playing with it.
My battery has been better than it was on myn's warm 2.2 today. I brought my charger with me because I figured playing with the rom on the first day would kill it but I've been at it all day and am only down to 37% since 5Am this morning. It's great.
Those having problems I'd suggest to figure out what's running and see if there's a run away app. If not try playing with different radios or pri's...
