Root [ROM] MTDEV-CM7 build 2013-03-03

I'm just getting started in programming, but if I can find an example of a manual iso setting, then I can probably bring it in.

I went looking for camera mod code, and did find some, but for a different device of course.
I found and installed a modded camera apk, which worked as far as taking pictures, but the iso settings didn't work.

I also remembered that the HDR Pro camera app (kick ass camera app, with the right phone!) doesn't function properly on the Triumph either.

Thinking that our hardware may not support this, I started looking for a way to test it.

I then ran across an app on the playstore called Camera FV-5 (lite). Nice camera app, btw.
Using this, I was able to manually set ISO, but exposure compensation didn't work. :( That is what makes HDR Pro not work also, I think.

I guess our hardware just ain't the best.

All of a sudden, I can't stay connected to a WiFi network.
Powered down and pulled battery, and still no joy.
Running MTDEV CM7.2 9/26
Any suggestions?

Reflash the rom? If that doesn't work you might have to reflash with a wipe.

Yeah I had that happen on my old phone when I was running one of my Penn custom cooked cm7 roms. Thought it might have just been something I messed up tinkering with the rom!

And g60, do you all use the mtdev kernel repos as the ones includes in the mtdev roms? I got them prepped to start patching, but I was going to try to just cherry pick my patch commits but it wasn't playing nice so ill have to find my patch files and apply them that way!

b_randon.. didn't you make brom for intercept? I'm typing on that rom.. been using it for a long time. Thanks so much. I finally realized the intercept developement stopped and got money for a triumph. I'm getting it on Friday.. just glad to see you working with MTDEV(I believe).. I'm thinking of trying stock for a week and then once a week flashing to sharp, cm7, u9000, cm9.. I can't wait for a full featured cm9 with hdmi/camera stable. I would donate towards that release. The biggest downside with the MT is version 2.2. I am concerned that app developers are going to exclude froyo support. I've already seen it with some apps.

Just wanted to say installed 9/26 CM7 and so far... everything is running better than I hoped.

I am using a new replacement from VM so I don't know if this new phone simply has less sensitive touch buttons or not but the menu is very unresponsive. I notice if I hold any of the buttons the phone clicks repeatedly so the menu goes up and down rapidly. Common or hardware not sure.

The button lights are dimly lit, I think I saw something on how to adjust it but I prefer it that way right now.

Lastly the battery life leaves much to be desired but I'm still testing so 25% in one hour with no use may be reasonable since I forgot to turn off the wifi.

Yeah lol that's me! I've came a long way since the intercept! But yeah I would say I'm associated with mtdev for sure! I can't do to much right now because of a lack of developing time but I help where I can!

Yeah the mtdev roms work pretty solid! I hope with time the camera will work on cm9. I'm not to concerned with HDMI though. But yeah froyo is way past its prime lol!

Find the code anywhere! I can at least look at the code for an example and use the calls and what not. It's the coding part that's the hard part for now. Of corse, the libraries and hardware have to support the feature.

My current (soon to be not used) router will loose it's ability to work with any of my wireless devices. I have to reboot that bit to get it to work. It sucks mostly because I use my daughter's wii as a media center to help her to sleep.

Try to reboot the router first. Power off for like a minute, then repower.

Dsmryder, sorry to hear that.. my daughter watches netflix to sleep also. Wireless routers are pretty cheap.. I switched from wii to a $50 roku.. its much better for media.

The buttons on low is a power feature we implemented to save power, and yes, you can change the settings in Settings--> CyanogenMod settings--> Display settings--> Automatic backlight--> (check use custom) Edit other levels.
You might have to change the number of levels, which is at the bottom.

The battery drain is not normal. I can get over two days on a single charge when I try. With my normal usage, I get about 24 hours. Today my daughter hert her back, we played games and I killed it down to 33% in two hours. How are you using it? You may have a rouge app that's keeping it working hard.

After rebooting the router several times, I googled a bit and found a page regarding the Triumph, and it suggested changing the router's SSID, and that worked.
What puzzles me is that none of my other devices had a problem, just my Triumph.

My wii won't accept spaces in the ssid. I guess how it's programmed. Weird things.

I have cm7 9/26 installed and now my screen off/on has been acting up  . I'll push the power button, the screen will turn off but imediatly turns back on, or when i click the power button the shut down options randomly comes up. Any ideas? Not trying to reflash -_-

Thanks for the reply. That actually got me to dig a bit in the settings. I have this really annoying glitch where if I hold the menu button it would bounce up and down rapidly. I disabled the haptic feedback and it seems a bit better overall so for those who have weird buttons that might be something to consider.

As for the battery, it's better today. Yesterday I was in a meeting phone was on silent and didn't use it. But I left bluetooth on and I know there is the wakelock bug so that didn't help and the room had terrible reception.

Today I have managed a good 6 hours out of this battery down to 3% right now. My desk has 0-1 bars of reception all the time so I presume that's the major battery drain and I use trillian and whatsapp for chat. Figure may as well drain it to zero and see if it can help it calibrate. Shouldn't need it since it was a new battery but whatever.

Newbie here(as it states to left) but just flashed cm7.2 today from top of this thread along with gapps links you gave. Is there a more updated rom then this or is that link updated as soon as no glitches, etc? GREAT work by the way! Just wondered because there are now 18 pages of replies so... Thanks !
