Root [ROM v3] 2.3.7 GingerXperia Revolution ROM for X8

Hello. I installed v23 and ihave one problem.
When i want to import contacts from memory card i just can't.
i click Import contacts->Memory card and it stucks.nothing happens.
can someone help me pls? :(
Doing the same on v22.
OK sorry. problem solved by app File Manager.
 
hey, i had v21b on my xperia x8 and multi touch was working, now i installed v23 and multi touch has gone.. can you make v24 with multi touch please? :)

First i would like to thank for this great rom. It's happy to use these.

I used v22 and using v23 in both i was facing repeated sms issue. I will receive sms repeately from same contact and after some time the contact gets a message that the sms was not delivered. Would appreciate your help in this...

Hi all,

the GingerXperia 2.3.7 v23 ROM is great and I really appreciate all your
hard work but there are however a few things that I would like you change
for a future release:

- My battery drains very quick when enabling the surf pad feature or in
standby mode.

- Windows is not able to find the device and the only way for windows to
successfully find it is by changing the devices designation in the control
panel and by formatting it.. which means deleting all my photos, music or
other files on my phone in order to transfer files - it just doesn't feel right.

- Really slow during start up.

- The multi-touch feature has been totally removed.

+ I can once again celebrate for that my preview or thumbs for my .mp3-files
are finally being shown in the media player, which was not the case with
previous versions:
v13, v14, v21, v21b or v22.

Great work guys, keep it up and please do remember to add the
multi-touch feature for future upcoming updates!

..and please don't forget about the egg clock!:D

Hai guys, currently I'm using GingerXperia v22.
Everything works fine until recently i notice that during standby mode, which when the screen fade out.
The screen suddenly turn on every few seconds (maybe 10 sec).
I guess maybe thats why the battery consumption is increasing in this version.
Or maybe,just maybe there is some other problem that can cause the screen to turn on by itself :confused:
Does anyone also has this problem? :(
 
hi, i am from HK and i have difficulties in selecting default IME.
I install some new Chinese IME but the IME always stay at the english one.
Is there any quick trick that I can modify the Default IME? or I have to wait until V24?

Apart from this, very thing works execellent!!!! Thanks and loooking for reply

P.S. I am on V23
 
Hello, this Rom is perfect, just some games doesnt work :( eg: NFS Shift, The Sims 3, Monopoly, also i want to play Pokemon Fire Red (GBA rom, using Gameboid). The problem is, that they just dont launch. They shutdown on startup :(. Any way to fix this? Im using V23. Also, some programs (skype,winamp) crashes when trying to multi task..
 
Why does 3g allways turn its self back on during the nigh with this my phone was set to use 2g networks only and has 3g disabled in power options but when i look at it during the morning 3g has been turned back on?
 
I appreciate your efforts on the ROM...
But few of the problems faced by me are:
3G and GPS both in version 22 and 23...
in v23 GPS was working better.. bt 3g isnt workng at all..:confused:
 
ROM V23 is working fine ol d way but dere is only one problem dat i cant recieve messages in my phone now.....

plz fix dis ASAP...

Hi,

I don't think there will be any more Gingerbread v3+ updates.
All dev work are concentrated on Android Ice Cream Sandwich v4.0+
with an unlocked bootloader and running a custom aAn kernel or alfs kernel

I hope to upgrade my X8 to ICS 4.0+ soon

I found that the battery saver app recommended in the first post overrode my phones settings and kept turning stuff on when I'd turned them off so I removed it.
