Root [ROM-WIP-5/25/12]LeWa

I can pm CuriousNoob about what I did to get everything working. Then he can post the zip.
It would be very bad on my part to do as you suggested. This is originally his Idea to port the LeWa over to the V.
I don't mind getting a mention along with sammyz as helping, but that's all I did.
You will have to be patient, and wait for CuriousNoob to post a zip that has the LeWa Lockscreen music player and mms working.
Sorry, but that's the best I can do. I have to respect the original idea and thread that's CuriousNoobs

 how did I help? I haven't even downloaded this ROM due to the fact we need a kernel for Music to work....

Could you please pm him for some reason I can't login to vmrom, Ian unable to receive the confirmation email
Tell him that Andy found a fix for lewa please!

Sorry guys. VM claim they didnt get my phone, so they turned my phone off.

You can share your LeWa ports within this thread as long as their tested. :D

MMS fix was in Gannons thread. Decompile with APKtool, go through the folders, com, android, internal, telephony. And then some other stuff.

PM me the download link and ill work on it tomorrow.

I know how to fix mms. I did it for cai and my CM7 port.

Does it work with baseband zv9? I don't have any signal at all.

sms is working for me. I don't know about the picture sending part, but text works fine. The lockscreen music player works as well (LeWa Player). I used the newest patch that was provided in the LeWa thread mentioned in the first post, the LeWa_OS_M4_Patch.
The LeWa Player is a GPU and CPU intensive app, so I took tvall's almost_purity ROM and had to use BobZohe's kernel v4 plus CuriousNoob's Gapps.
I added the Calender.
I also changed the host secure file in /system/etc.
It's fast on the scrolling, but a little laggy on opening up apps.
I also downloaded the Theme Zip. I had to take the themes out and move them over to the LeWa folder that was made on the uSD card. I now have 30 themes at my finger tips to choose from.
I have it overclocked to 480MHz min-768MHz max (this also kept the theme chooser app from FC'ing)
It is a little touchy on first boot, I had to just skip sign in (don't have any data connection at this point in the set up anyway) then reboot twice. It then settled right in.
I deleted the DSP Manager and added Beats Audio (had to do this once the ROM had settled in)
It's still kind of picky about what apps you delete or add to the system, so I'm going to leave the useless apps alone until I have found a more suitable Host ROM and kernel.

Could someone explain how to set up a file share site to download the ROM zip from(I am signed up on Dropbox, Box, 4Share, and Google Docs). How to give it a MD5 sum, (basically everything needed to allow other members to download my concoction).

So what's the best free (free for me to upload and free for use to download) file share site out there,

I might be able to make that if someone can give me info on how to enter the info on GoSMS to fix MMS, maybe AndieOpie150 would know?

Fixing MMS is Gingerbread roms is different than ICS. And, you can't make a flashable zip for ported roms because they each have different framework.jar ;)
