Use the IP address listed and add port 5000 to use ADB via WiFi, ie: adb connect 192.168.1.123:5555 (replace IP address with your phone's)
Jerry this part I'm not getting really Do I tick (use static ip and then something, or something I input on my desktop)?
Set it to a custom color option, then reboot.I'm also having a problem with the new build. The status bar is transparent on my lock screen, goes black on my home screen, and back to transparent with whatever else I bring up. Also, I can't seem to change this no matter what option I select under status bar appearance.
If it's with a swirl its still the boot, if it's an android with words on top and bottom then touch the android
Turn phone off.
Then Hold home+volume down then power button, all at the same.
When you see the LG logo, let go of buttons.
It will boot into your recovery.
Then go here http://androidforums.com/optimus-v-...tory-reset-your-rooted-phone.html#post3263770
Start right after it shows were the phone has booted into recovery.
If your WiFi box unchecks itself then your router is not recognizing your phone. Sometimes it's just a matter of typing in your password correctly. Sometimes you need to turn the router and phone off, then turn back on after 5 min. Try password again.

I'm beginning to think I have a bad download.
One of the reasons I always check the md5 sums after a download.
You look up your phone's local (ie wifi) ip address under
Settings>>Wireless & network>>Wi-Fi settings
Press your menu key and select Advanced, look for your IP address
Second download still no go. How do I check the md5 using my phone?
