Root [ROM][WIP] BACKside ROM (CM7) + Green Machine Theme

Wallpapers are attached to this post ;)
Those are cool and everything... but where did the "stock" wallpapers go? Every Optimus V comes pre-installed with both regular and live wallpapers. They are there when you get the phone and don't flash a rom on there.

Now, the stock live wallpapers are still here. The stock regular ones are gone.

I have another question: you know when you first flash the ROM onto the phone and in the setup process, it asks you if you'd like to install some apps (Gmail, Google Voice, Google Goggles, Facebook, etc)? If I click cancel and choose to install it later, how do I go about doing that? I clicked cancel but how do I use that again to install those apps?

EDIT: NEVERMIND. Apparently, it only appears once. Your chance is lost if you choose cancel. No biggie since you can download it yourself manually if you really want it.

All of those apps are available through the market.

Whats the average battery life of someone with 3g on? i lose like 15% an hour with 3g on and i hate it, although it could also be that i have yahoo and facebook connected as well as auto sync set to on. and also battery defender and all those things only make my battery go down faster.

I still can't find a way to get to the live wallpapers. It's set to the default Nexus live wallpaper. But the live wallpaper option is missing from the wallpaper menu. In the menu there is: "Configure...", "Gallery", "QuickPic Wallpaper", and "Wallpaper gallery". If I change the wallpaper, I have no way of getting back to the Nexus wallpaper.

I had a problem with 3g not working. I fixed it by restoring to my stock backup and enabling 3g, and then flashing to BACKside again. I thought, maybe having a live wallpaper enabled when I flashed to BACKside was the reason I didn't have live wallpaper, so I flashed back to stock, reset to factory defaults, and flashed to BACKside again. No luck.

A couple links back Jerry linked the wallpapers

I installed a live wallpaper from the market and found a way to run it, but it didn't actually start. It immediately gave me an error.

When I try to change the config of the default Nexus wallpaper, I can change the background and stuff, but if I keep messing with it, it gives me the same error.

The application Android Live Wallpapers (process com.android.wallpaper) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.

can someone please tell me how the current build is different from the 0810 build?
If you go back to the first page, first post, you will see the change log(those things that got changed in a particular build) for your build #

I have yet another question in addition to "where's the defualt froyo stock wallpapers at".

When I switch the camera AND videos to horizontal I get these crazy transparent criss crossing to make many squares... what in the world do I do to get rid of that? lol.

Hey I downloaded your latest cm7 rom and everything works awesome except I don't have live wallpapers and can't load any from the market. Any thoughts?

Update: K I read back through the recent posts and saw similar problems. I will try the link for the wallpapers. I only have options for gallery and configure and the configure takes me to the nexus wallpapers. If I change the background I can't get back to the nexus and the configure menu disappears.

OK Ignore that I completely missed the link to the zip. Will try this. Thanks.

anybody?

I'm currently using aosp, and I pretty consistently use about 5% per hour with very light use and a very weak signal. Don't know if that helps you.

Weirdly, ever since I flashed to BACKside then back to aosp, my data performance (Web page load times) has been noticeably faster. Almost order of magnitude faster sometimes. I must have had some kind of problem before.

Live wallpaper takes battery, synching apps like Yahoo which even on stock Yahoo was a battery killer so I uninstalled. Allot of free app keep running and connected to the net to update there ads and can acess gps to bring you location specific ads which is why I try to avoid ad based apps. You can turn syncing and auto updating off on Facebook which will save some battery. I turn off all auto updates off on my apps which it only takes a second to update when you open your app which is a good trade off for battery saving.

If I'm at 100% when I get outta bed in the morning my phone pretty consistently lasts until I go to bed (with a good amount of usage) it'll usually have from 30 to 10% battery, but it'll last from 9am till midnight at least for me
