Root [ROM][WIP]CM10.0.0.l0-BobZ

Could someone please update the status of this ROM. It hasn't been updated in over 3 months. And there are a lot of us waiting for this one to be finished. Looking forward to this rom being finished more than the next jay z album.

It's poor etiquette to say that someone needs to update a ROM. Bobz has a family and job and this is his hobby.
 
i think bobz has a new phone now and his motion has no service but playfulgod is working on this rom for us. his repository was forked from bobz so it's basically the same thing except for the changes he's made since.
 
building from source is not as straight forward as you might think. you can build 3 times in a row from the same repo and get 3 different results. or sometimes it builds exactly the same. basically you keep building until you get a positive result but sometimes there maybe issues that weren't in the previous build even though nothing related was changed.
 
I keep trying to explain to people that it is actually against forum rules to ask about updates and demand them and whatnot. Devs do this as a hobby and don't owe you anything.

I also try to explain to people, especially people who are having recording issues and the like on PG's build, that the most stable way to go thus far, is to flash bobz cm10 5-21, then apply all the fixes. The only one that isn't a flashable is the vibration fix, but that is pretty darn easy. Fix vibration, then flash the rest, gps, sound, front camera. It's not too difficult. I might try swapping out PG's bluetooth so files to see if I can get bluetooth working on Bobz because that is the only thing that is missing for me. That and 1080p.

Which voloume fix are you using ? Are you using the volume fix+xloud? Or just the one file volume fix? Cause when my phone rings I can barely hear it but the in call volume is louder than it was before.

You're not supposed to use 2nd-init at all with this ROM. Hold the power button, hit reboot, and tick the recovery option to reboot into recovery. Just spam the volume button after rebooting so the screen actually shows.

Thanks. I'll try and let you know the results.

Edit: I get a security error screen. Something about no morning call.

I could link you the file but you honestly wouldn't want it.. It way over does the speaker volume making I unusable with the Xloud mod.
