I just installed it, and my phone is running. I haven't put in the updates yet, but I'm about to. Then I'll touch base in a day or two about any differences I might notice.

edit: I installed both updates, rebooted, waited for the phone to settle down, cleared the cache to make sure, and ran Antutu. The first time I ran it (or got it to run without crashing, I should say) my stats were pretty much the same, except my 2d graphics was 173, in line with the rest of you, instead of 110 to 140 like it's been all along. I was all Right On! and ran it again. This time, my 2d was at 25, and the rest sucked, too. Even with a class 10 card, my total was 599. What that means, I haven't the foggiest.

In the end, I'm not sure if it's snappier yet or not, but it definitely doesn't feel slower.

I played with this last night. I went with "9" which is the "gaming setting" (I forgot to run AnTuTu before I did it to see what my score was) but my total score after doing it and running AnTuTu is 791. Of course what does that exactly mean? I have no clue.

I cant exactly say I have noticed a difference.


Edit- I did run AnTuTu a couple days ago and when I went to "Score Chart" I was at the bottom of the list below the Wildfire which now I'm actually beating the WildFire.
 
Im wondering wats going on seriously ever since bobz and pg's latest build ive started getting double txts?And on top of that adw launcher ex and launcher pro gets forecloses often im like what tha hell?My phone isnt a lazy ascend at all so im wondering maybe sumbody knows wats going on!

Do you have an aftermarket text app? GOSMS, Handcent, ect. If you do open your stock and click your menu key > settings and uncheck notifications. I have GOSMS and I have to open GO>menu settings> Receive settings and check Disable other message notifications.

And if you have your home launcher on your SD card move it to your phone.
 
someone help im currently running the latest cm7 rom alarms dont work is there a bug in this rom? does this happen to anyone on here :(
 
Is it possible for my root just to stop working? Gingerbreak 1.2 and even tried 1.3 wont work all of a sudden.

Yea i been did tha unchecking everything in my stock sms it only does this just with handcent and go sms!But whats up with the launchers force closing?None of my launchers are my sd card!
 
Now it popped up that system operation is not responding. And now is rebooting on me. Just going to go ahead and reflash.

Udate- So I restored my back up of CM 7.2 in ROM Manager and all works fine now. Root and all so that V6SuperCharger had to be the culprit in my opinion, so a heads up if you use it you may end up having to recover or reflash perhaps.

I installed this script about 24 hours ago. I was hoping it would help with the eight second lag I have when unlocking the phone, it takes six to eight seconds for my home screen to appear. Didn't help one bit. Phone does not seem any faster either.

Anyone know how to speed up the home screen when unlocking the phone? I have tried " lock home in memory" in the CM7 settings but that had no effect. Does anyone else have this problem?
 
I think CM7 already has the things that v6 thing does scripted into it, tho I personally dont know that for a fact.

For as home screen opening time try a diff launcher.
 
i thought the rom was pretty cool until it started freezing up all over the places and i have all my apps foreclosing right after i fix my permissions in rom manager. with this rom my phone like literally moves like outer space slow, so ill be trying BZ new rom no offense playfulgod, but keep up the good work like the new details.

Did you wipe all data,cache and delvic and format system, boot, cache and data? I had problems when I skipped the step of formatting system,boot,cache and data. Kept getting a force close for android.media But now since I did that my phone hauls ass with no force closes.
 
Anybody ever have problems when updating apps after it downloads and installs you get an error message that says "Package not signed correctly"?

Only time I had that problem was with OI File Manager... If you read the Market Description, it explains how to fix it. It's because the version that comes with CM6/7 has the wrong signature.
