I am currently running cwm7 PG 6/24. It is beginning to run slow and closing my apps randomly. I see there is a more current rom. 7/28. Is the link listed above in the last reply? I also have premium rom manager downloaded to my phone I just don't know how to use it. Any suggestions?

Just go into rom manager, back up your current rom, then you might have to reflash the recovery, then go to download rom then to roms by PlayfulGod select the 0728 and download it, then a window will pop up when its done and then select all the options except for back up current rom since you already did then hit ok and it will flash it for you. Then when the phone reboots go back to rm and back to download rom then to the gapps section and then download and when the window pops up only select the wipe cache option and hit okay. Then it will flash it for you.

Even tho you already paid for it, rom manager is a waste of money. All PG's roms that are on there are on the free version except on the weekends because Koush for some reason makes it that way.

thanks to a PM from a avid user which I will credit on the wiki etc later, a fix for the light has been found.

I have also thought about redoing certain parts of the chaos kernel to see if even higher cpu speeds an be obtained

yep for the bobz no lights...which i know the user who has fixed it... so everyone get your ascend ready....

I've actually been considering grabbing the Ascend 2 and not rooting, but reflashing CM7 on this guy and keeping it as a dev phone. Lol.

he dug certain files out of cm6 and added them to cm7 to fix em. I am currently working on a new ascend build if you can wait, if not I can post what files you need to track down

I no longer have to add it in with the kitchen, just compile and it gets installed with everything else.

All I have to say is that the New build is awesome!! my phone is running at 729Mhz, But I wanted to ask if someone knows a fix to a weird Roaming indicator off that shows right in the bottom of the Power widget of the status bar, I flash it with the latest Metro Off I downloaded from the WIKI. I even re-flash it to stock, then re-flash it back to CM7 and still doesn't go out. and it show for the first time when I went form bobz 07/18 to Goodplayful 07/28/. I've been scratching my head about this.

never had to flash dta2sd with my builds and with the gui no you dont have to use terminal anymore

You mean on the dropdown notification? I can fix that too. I added the eri.xml back to the metroff to fix the banner issue on the Optimus C/M. But I can edit it some so nadda shows.
