Yea I think isaacs working on backend things mostly.

Isaac I got a ?, the carrier info for mms, is it diff info than what the stock had?? A question ask on here some place got me to thinking about that, but I figured if it were that simple it'd done be fixed lol
 
I discovered something regarding restoring backups. I have several CWM backups of Icarus 1.1 and yes I can restore any of them but once I restore the rom will not work correctly. Market will not open. Even if I reinstall the Market it still will not work correctly as it will fail to download any apps.

So I restored back to CM7 and everything is working correctly again. So I guess I will not be able to go back to Icarus 1.1 because restoring does not work correctly and I cannot flash it since now I have CWM 3.0.0.5 which will not work with Icarus.

Any suggestions?

If I'm using CWM v2.5.1.8 would this still be true? I don't want to wipe if I missed something along the process?

i switch to icarus,cm6, and c,7 with no issues at all and im using 3.0.2.4.

When you installed CM7 you should have gotten ROM Manager. Open ROM manager and click Flash ClockworkMod Recovery...

That should update your version to the newest.

I think that is what you were asking?? Lol sorry if I'm mistaken I was speed reading.

Yea done that n it updated Rom Manager but not cwm recovery.

nutt got ya PM n replied ;)

my issue is with the laptop seeing the fone in adb.

I ran what u sent ealrlier with the new version but it just sits there going ...

on my lappy it didnt show either but i went ahead and open cwm and ran fast boot and recovery for windows and it was install.

Different strokes for different folks i guess haha. Good luck.
 
but on the other hand which is a pain, backup your current rom and you can flash back to stock 2.1 and install cwm the one sent and you should have 3.0.2.4 and just simply restore your backup...

wouldnt adb still need to see my phone??

I know its got to be a driver thing, but dayum lol.
