Root [ROM][WIP] CyanogenMod 7 | Android 2.3.5 (Gingerbread) | Current Version: 09122011

Hi.. my phone wasn't reading from the SD card properly so I messed around with setting.... and I'm at the point where my phone doesn't even boot into recovery anymore no matter how many times I repeat the process, help??? Did I accidently delete it? Is that possible?? My phone is stuck in the Huawei screen and I'm not even sure fastboot is working??

Even if I did accidently delete my CWM, its not possible for me to lock myself from being able to install it, correct?? None of the button combinations I try on my phone do anything anymore.. did I brick my phone?? :( I tried reinstalling, to no avail? help please? :(

Sounds like this is a flash back to stock and start over moment. And no, most likely you did not brick your phone. BTW, if you use the 0502 version of CM7, you should not have SD issues.

New build 05042011 is uploading as we speak. I think you guys will like this one... You'll see what I mean ;)

It has a new feature as well: Gerrit Code Review

Essentially, you can clear individual notifications from the status bar without having to clear all of them. You simply slide (from left to right) the notification you want to remove. Why is this cool? For example, say you have a reminder set or text message and you want to keep that notification there. However, you've downloaded and installed some apps and you want those to clear. You can simply slide off the ones you don't want.

This build has a new, tweaked stock launcher. It has snappier home scrolling, rotate ability, faster fade in/out on the app drawer and is just generally smoother.

Other than that, there's the assortment of stability fixes. Build number is now right for 2.3.4, WIFI has been tweaked, I set new graphics permissions that make the whole thing snappier. Oh, and I was wrong about the build_fingerprint. We're using the Nexus One, not Nexus S. Flashed and had all kinds of issues with apps restored from Root Tools. FC and even framework errors. Reflashed, and now running perfectly. I LOVE the new launcher! Not sure why Root Tools spazzed out, but clearly an issue with the APP, not CM7. Thanks for the new build, hope you enjoyed the beer.

what ROM did you have b4. When jumping from 2.1 to 2.2 or 2.1/2.2 to 2.3 you really need to re-download apps or try installing individually. The difference between versions is enough to mess em up.

05022011 build of CM7. I just think something went funky with that restore. I have had issues with RT and modded ROMs before.
 
The new build is great. Very stable. Even though the new notification bar tweak is simple, its effective and convenient. Nice work guys.

Playful what would you say some of the must have apps are with Cm7 if you can give a brief description along with suggestions that would be great as I am not tech savvy. Dont knowhow I managed to get Icarus and Cm7??? Lol!!:D

Anyone else get mutiples of the same text message using this rom, I use go sms with the notifications in the stock sms unit turned of..I literally got 8 messages in 3 seconds...holy crap

I have gotten multi texts on all roms, Stock, 6/7, except for icarus. They say it is the network, which i agree with but something in the icarus rom stopped it for me.
 
I figured as much...does anyone have any insight on that new apn setting or know what it needs to be set at for metro users

well I looked in the apn settings and the only one that was available after I flashed the rom was the apn settings for cricket. There was no option for metro pcs and I flashed the latest build. I filled in the apn settings using the ones provided by septembersen

i have the latest build also and i never had to open apns and change nothing, just flash metro off no roaming off....but if no one had change the setting than no one can provide info for that...not saying that to be rude...

No I have haven't had it that bad. Sometimes I'll get two of the same from Cricket but nothing ever as extreme as 8.

I have just flashed the latest build and has connected to CricKet automatically.
