i finally got cm7 and its badass. very smooth but im having problems with mms. i flashed metrOFF from the wiki and opened apns and i have the green dot next to metro. ive reflashed everything....

Did you try to put it in airplane mode for a bit.. Then maybe turn it off, remove battery.. Then try again..

flash this metro off: MetrOFF-v1.3-MMS-GB-Edify-CM_ASOP-No_Roaming_indicator_Off_signed.zip
Im having the same issues with MMS and 0507.. Tried the airplane, battery out, reflash metroff 1.3.. it says that i have a mms but when i try to download it it says "Download of message (no subject) from xxx was unsucessful".. Maybe its just metro tonight.. Double texts out the wazoo too lol.. Will try a reflash and all that fun stuff a little later and update..

did you open the voice dialer n say 'OPEN A P N's' into it and then select the MetroPCS APN and ensure the green dot was showing? If not you need to do this n reboot b4 it will work.

Yeah.. Flashed 0507 and gapps, rebooted.. initial load, reboot to recovery to flash metroff, reboot, apn (which btw is easier just to say "A P N") check to metro, reboot.. reboot again just to let things settle.. no go.. starting to think it may be metro tonight though.. flashed back to recovery of 0505 that was working earlier.. double checked metro was green and rebooted. still no go.. well.. got one of 5 that were sent but that was coming out of airplane mode after a bit from one person but after that she tried again and nothing.. wits end though.. tried from another person too but download error.. will try reflash..

might have had a bad flash but which metro off did you flash...try this one MetrOFF-v1.3-MMS-GB-Edify-CM_ASOP-No_Roaming_indicator_Off_signed.zip it can be flash with 3.0.2.8 theres no need to downgrade to 2xxxxx to flash metro off.

Well,the problem stemmed from a previous rom that really messed up the phone's settings. I solved it by restoring my stock backup,then flashing CM7. Been working fine without a hitch since.
Anyone have this problem? The time is messed up. When I go to bed, set alarm, it won't go off. I turn the phone on and the time is several hours in the past, then after a few seconds corrects to current time. Then alarm goes off if it has passed the actual time I set it. Using 0504 build.

Haha i was almost late to work because of this. Try enabling the option to keep the screen on while plugged in. Good luck.

Essentially, you can clear individual notifications from the status bar without having to clear all of them. You simply slide (from left to right) the notification you want to remove. Why is this cool? For example, say you have a reminder set or text message and you want to keep that notification there. However, you've downloaded and installed some apps and you want those to clear. You can simply slide off the ones you don't want.
This build has a new, tweaked stock launcher. It has snappier home scrolling, rotate ability, faster fade in/out on the app drawer and is just generally smoother.
Other than that, there's the assortment of stability fixes. Build number is now right for 2.3.4, WIFI has been tweaked, I set new graphics permissions that make the whole thing snappier. Oh, and I was wrong about the build_fingerprint. We're using the Nexus One, not Nexus S. +1, in settings, application, development, you can set the phone to stay awake while plugged in.
