Root [ROM][WIP] CyanogenMod 7 | Android 2.3.5 (Gingerbread) | Current Version: 09122011

Last Question Sorry for so many Whats the Push Notifications? and should we register for that?

No, there's no point. The Huawei Ascend isn't officially supported by CyanogenMod. If was in the CM repos, then that option would be useful, but I don't think there's any chance this phone could be officially supported.

I looked and cant find nothing, seems like there should be tho cuz it was on 2.1 lol

of was that another launcher I was running??? I dont remember lol

hey to ANYONE that has this new version
so when using camara it doesnt slow down anything at all
AND does google maps works now or still no?

yee, but fackkk i hate deleteing all apps then restoring ughhh
you can at least save your apps using Appkik. There was another one ppl have listed but I dont know how it works.

pose to be a new build up tonight or tomorrow per isaac too ;)

I'm currently working on a new build. In this build will have:

- Fix for the USB mounting identity. Instead of saying "Android Adapter," it should now say "Huawei M860."

- Minor fix to overclocking. Plus, a fix so that CM7 doesn't force overclocking. It has to be chosen now.

- Started to implement USB tethering and Wifi hotspot functionality

- Attempt to enable the cool electron beam screen off/on animation

- The 2D performance is better now. The system seems more responsive. The verdicts still out on Maps and Camera. Since other apps don't have the same problem, I'm going to assume that it's something from CM7. I'll have to wait for a fix.

- Began implementing Mms functionality

- Slowly, but steadily keep adding as much generic carrier info as I can. I have to keep the info as broad as possible as I'm catering to 2 service providers at once. Most other phones only belong to one carrier.

Sweet Isaac!!! Still going it have it up today or tomorrow???

hey hes mucking around in code tryin to get a upload ready lol.

I looked all thru mine and could find anywhere were that could be done. ADW did it I believe.

Hey Isaac is there a way to disable wallpaper scrolling without switching launchers?

No, It's the stock Gingerbread 2.3 launcher. I wanted it that way because I'm trying to keep the Gingerbread experience as vanilla as possible. (So, Huawei can open their eyes and realize that it's possible).

You'll have to download and use another launcher. I recommend Launcher Pro. It's blazing fast on CM7.

launcher pro is a good one....i have 3 different launcher i switch between every week or so. and thanks isaac for a great rom....

ok just to be clear...
