Ahh.... So when I do a complete wipe in TWRP (system, data, caches), that's considered a factory reset. With my PC mentality, I always considered it going back to a factory stock state, which would involve a reformat and loss of data.
It seems like going for LTE would definitely slow down my crack flashing, which might be a good thing, lol. Another consideration - when at home I'm lucky to get a couple of bars and EDGE2. When I was on .33 and the LTE apn, I got zero connection. Not that I need mobile data at home since I'm on Wi-Fi, but does that impact receiving/making phone calls? Sorry for the noobish questions, but this is new territory for me.
Don't wipe system, because that clears your os and your phone won't boot without flashing a rom. A factory rest it just data, cache, and dalvik.
If you have no connection, then the phone is only good for dialing 911. Calls and sms will not get through until signal is regained. So it sounds like it might be a good idea to remedy that if you plan to use the phone portion of your N4.
