How can I tell which radio I now have. (I flashed the OP link at the bottom for Radio 1.13.652, but in android I still see 1.06.00.0426)

Go into your bootloader (battery pull then hold volume down + power) toward the top of that screen (I think the third line) it will show the radio.
Also, 1.13.652.2 is the software build number, not the radio. I believe the radio for that build is 1.06.00.1216.
The op says that downloads have been modified numerically so I would assume that 1.06.00.0426 would be the correct radio for the 1.13 build.

So after doing this my battery life is now terrible. Before I flash the radio and stuff I lose about 2% overnight, and after the flash I lose about 20%. Was this suppose to happen? I flashed with the radio under the downloads section (md5 - 0ab6aeb4ca9421d5ea8e9ced722554bc), not under the changes section (md5 - 58a1de80fc137bf437c1edd5f447a2ac).

I do have a question though. Say I want to downgrade back to a stock ROM, but I can't boot the stock VM ROM. Is it possible to use the stock Sprint ROM on the Evo V?

hmm.. harmonia should actually be helping your battery life... radio flashes shouldn't affect battery life.... are you using an overclock kernel by any chance... (ex: anthrax, butter toast)???

No, as i mentioned, i'm using bone stock kernal. I'll try to flash it again and see what happen

yeah do a reflash... make sure to check settings to make sure you dont have something that you are not using on... (ex: gps/wifi)

Alright, have to see how it'll work out tomorrow. Any idea if i should have 'automatic' or 'sprint only' for the cdma roaming mode? Phone went into roaming mode the other day, first time i've seen it do that.
So I finally took the plunge of doing this. Not sure if I psyched myself out on the difficulty or what I was actually expecting. S Off seemed way too easy. These steps seemed way to easy. Everything looks like it took, my Hboot changed, the PRI ends in 45, my baseband is 0530. Is that it? Thanks for the hard work from everyone.

Just to be sure, we can install Evo 3D ROMs after we do this, right? And if so, does that include non-sense ROMs?

are there any free back up apps you guys recommend? before i start this or if this fails could i just wipe everything thing clean and start over and would my phone work (like when i first activated my phone)?
After you unlock the bootloader and flash your recovery, you can make a nandroid backup. That will backup the entire state of your phone as is. You can always return to that backup or any backup you make.
And yes also, you can return to fully stock and unrooted if you wish to do so for whatever reason,

Besides the recovery which backs up everything...
Look into Titanium and Mybackup, both have free versions, but I highly recommend the pay version of Mybackup Pro, especially as you are new to this. Titanium can do a few things Mybackup can, but at the same time, you can really muck things up at the same time. Mybackup is dead simple and does most of what Titanium can do.

I'm a little confused by this. Why would you not being able to flash the stock evo v rom? If that true, then I would imagine that same thing that preventing you from flashing the stock rom would also prevent you from flashing the evo 3d stock rom. Also, if you can't get the stock rom flashed you could always run the Ruu. I don't imagine that there would be no way to get back to stock.
If you are just curious if you can flash the evo 3d stock rom, i believe you can though you might have to take some extra steps to get everything working. I don't think mms and some other things would work without changing some stuff. I might be wrong about that though.

Flashing the VM ROM isn't the problem. It's the fact that I can't boot it with the 1.04 Hboot.
I'm trying to figure out a way I can activate the phone again, if that time ever comes, as I had to do that twice with my Triumph. I was wanting to see if I could somehow do that with the Sprint ROM.

Are you s-off? If so, just download one of the VM firmwares below. If you just want only the hboot, you can find that in the same thread.
Update through your bootloader and you should be able to boot the stock rom.
Alternatively you can run the RUU which will put you back on the stock rom. It will return you completely to stock.

I'm having a problem. I did everything in this thread to a T, and was able to update to PRL 60690 but for some reason (maybe due to ##CLEAR# hands-free activation) it updated to PRL 61009 and I can't flash 60690 anymore. I have read that 60690 is better.
Hmmm, Unfortunately I don't have anything to offer on that as I have never changed my PRL. Isn't the PRL just preferred roaming list? It shouldn't effect anything on your network. It's just a list of carriers to scan and in what order when you are roaming.
Also, to say that any radio, etc. is better is all dependent on location. One PRL might work better for me, but in your area, it may be worse. So take things like that with a grain of salt when you see "the best" anything. It's all opinion and dependent on your service area!
