Well I did the clean install, for some reason when I acess the play store on my computer to tell it to download apps I get the error message "
You haven’t accessed the Google Play Store app on your device with this email account"

I can acess the play store fine and download apps on the phone with no problems.

I appreciate that. Called a Google rep...had no idea about rooting or ROMs so he freaked out and emailed a "tech specialist" my information...said expect a response in a month *sigh*

how do play movies work? do you download to the device or purchase a license?

does the device id change after every Rom flash? maybe that has something to do with it?

not sure but this is the first time i've had an issue with it.

You can either rent or purchase. Then you can either stream or save for offline...or you're supposed to be able to

sounds similar to JE78 in terms of an account not finding the device because it has a new device id

perhaps fixing permissions, updating busybox, or updating superSU would do the trick?

I've restored my new ID each time so it wouldn't be that. The SU binary is the newest, and Jake will have included the latest busy box. I suppose I could try permissions, but it isn't a system app so I'm not sure :/

I fixed permissions before I booted up for the first time.

every time i have flashed a new version I've had to update busybox to 1.20.2 from 1.19x or even 1.18.x

Not sure if that's relevant, just an observation

Yeah. I just finished w 3.4.....I'm considering dirty. If it doesn't work out, I will try the other route. Just made a titanium backup (thanks chief) just in case

I dirtied and all is right in the world. Why don't you just nandroid your 3.4 and go ahead and dirty flash. If you run into issues you can either restore and wait for 3.6 or clean flash 3.5.

I never switched to TWRP. I just used it one time.

My vote is always for clean flash! I like to eliminate as many variables as possible
