[Verizon] [ROM]JDX (formerly Jelly Belly) AOSP+ - v15 (7/28)

Yup on stock kernel...I think I did so much flashing in the last couple of weeks, I never gave the phone a chance to settle....

I am finally at 11% for the day...4hr28min39sec of screen on time...??? Wow!!

Stock battery?

Yeah that is awesome. And I'm assuming all on WIFI, never-the-less, still AWESOME! :D

Yes stock battery...and nope most of that was on 4g...I just wish I knew what the difference was, except letting it settle.
For whatever reason, I am getting all green 4g signal now at work...maybe something changed with the towers near me?? I was on WiFi for only 4 hours...and the rest was 4g.

Also, for those that don't know, as much as I loved AOKP, with this kinda battery life, plus the notification toggles app....I am extremely happy with JellyBelly 3.9!!
 
Running 3.9 as of yesterday with a clean wipe. Had CPU spy on overnight and most (80%) of the time is at 350mhz and only 17% is deep sleep.. Anyone remind me of the fix for this?? Also, I noticed when I had the clock dimmed/nightlight last night that the soft keys stayed lit.. brightly lit. is this a bug? Running stock kernel and no mods.

Phone locked up this AM, got hot and is killing the batt and I didn't notice because I was in a meeting. Plus, am not receiving texts... something isn't right.

That is insane on 4g I'd be hard pressed to ever leave that setup :)

It's enough for me to give it a shot. I'm on AOKP and doing well but I'd definitely like to do better.

What is necessary for me to go from AOKP to Jelly Belly? I run NOVA Launcher and don't want to lose all of my settings. I also don't want to lose my camera pictures or Handcent history. Everything else can go.

I'll do a nandroid but what kind of wipe do I need to do to install this ROM?

I would: backup nova in its settings. Get the app SMS backup free and back up your SMS msgs. Then wipe data, cache partition, format system under mounts and storage, then wipe dalvik cache under advanced. This is with CWM if that is the recovery you are using. That should cover you :)

Jelly belly is teh best! Very customizable with all of the mods to choose from!!

I have the circle battery with % and extended power menu added to this too.

3.9.1 is out. Supposed to fix any wifi bootloops.

OK...so I flashed the rom and it seems to be working properly.

Couple questions...

Is there a way to automatically download all of the apps saved in the Play store? I hate doing it individually.

Also, where are the notification toggles in this Rom?

Finally, is there any way to change the lockscreen? I'd like a 4-way slider so I can go directly to camera, gmail and handcent.

Welcome!!
First, definitely invest in Titanium Backup. I use the Pro version, when I do a full system wipe, I uncheck the Restore from Google check mark at the startup, go to Play, install TIBU first, then Restore missing apps. As long as I made a backup in TIBU before I did my wipe, all of the Non-system apps and their data are ready to be reinstalled at the click of a button....

Second, this ROM is simply stock-ish. Meaning there are no mods already installed, you can choose to install what you like, also no toggles. There are a few apps on Play, but I use Notification Toggles for mine...no battery drain and they work great.

This also means that there is not an embedded way to change the lock screen...someone else might suggest an app from Play, but I have left mine alone with just the unlock, camera and Google Now.

Welcome again and hope you enjoy! The dev is currently working to completely rebuild this ROM, so we should see a great new ROM soon!!! But for me...best battery life I have ever seen since I got my phone!!!

(Remember this is about your own usage, and not based on anyone else's apps or settings....)
 
Okay so something funky today...

Flashed 3.9.1 last night...everything was golden...today, after about 5 hrs off charger I noticed I was at 74% battery...not a good sign. Checked the battery screen...and today the Phone Idle is more than my screen on time...??? Something weird going on with that. Reverted to 3.9. Will check again later tonight....anyone else??
 
3.10 uploaded to my drop box along with the gapps if anyone needs it...but no change log yet...
Looks like some people are having WiFi issues on 3.9 and 3.10...so may want to wait a bit to flash...however there is a WiFi fix..it might help if you are still having issues...see the OP on Roots for the link.

So flashing back to 3.9 fixed the Phone Idle issue for me...not sure what that was.
But looking forward to flashing 3.10....
Flashing now...back in a few....

Edit: awesome!! 3.10 is working great!! Clean flashed and backed up!
 
4.0 sounds interesting! Might have to try it next week. I'm still on XenonHD haven't found a reason to leave yet it is just as perfect as it gets. Thanks Steven and Ryan!
 
I have 4.0 but am afflicted with the Wifi reboot bug. Was there a fix for this?
 
Also, my wait time at the Google logo during boot is excessive despite having the latest boot loader.
