I really do not use the camera much, but yes, I have also been disappointed.

This could be due to a dirty lens (I work in a filthy environment), low light situations, or maybe the camera is just not that good.

If I was interested in taking pictures of any value, I would buy a camera, not a.phone.

I get the 'convenience' factor, but in truth their is no beating a quality product that is devoted to a single task.

Maybe if I messed with the camera more, it would interest me more. I just do not hardly use it at all. I take less than five photos a month usually, and these are usually just to show someone something and then they are deleted.

Because of security issues, I do use a non-native camera app (Simple Camera) that can sometimes cause issues on certain devices- but as far as picture quality goes, none that I am aware of.

The Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro are the first Google devices to use an optical under-display fingerprint sensor. These work by illuminating the spot where you place your finger so that the camera under the screen can see your fingerprints.

Many users have already found that some tempered glass screen protectors may interfere with the operation of the fingprint sensor, likely because the extra layer of glass causes too much internal reflection for the optical sensor to get a good look.

Your best guarantee for getting a screen protector which won't negatively impact the fingerprint sensor operation is to stick to products which are certified under the Made for Google program. Screen protectors from other companies might work, but if you stray from the Made for Google certified products I would definitely double-check the product description to make sure it is compatible with the fingerprint sensor. At least then you might have some recourse if it doesn't work correctly.

My current laptop is an old Toshiba AMD one, no driver problems with Mint from 18.1 (Serena) up to 20.2 (Uma), it's also quite happily running on my HP Pavilion 10X2, and that has had driver issues with other distros.

Go into your phone or tablet's settings and check if "Allow background activity" is enabled for the Ebay app. That's if your device has this option.

As I said, I could not get Snooze-It to see my Outlook calendar but I did find an app Calendar Notifier which works fine and has the features I was looing for.

That really leaves 2 possibilities: WhatsApp has made a change to the intent used and EverNote has not caught up, or EverNote has changed what they support. But neither would be anything you could do anything about, apart from contacting EverNote or waiting to see whether a future update to one or other app reinstates this.

Most prepaid carriers only give you a small amount of roaming data per month (data on another carriers network).

It's possible you don't have a good enough signal to use data, or are roaming and used up your small monthly amount.

Are those other people using the same network as you? If they're on AT&T or Verizon their signal will be different then yours.

Have you gotten a new Boost Mobile SIM that uses T-Mobile? If you have an old Sprint SIM and they decommissioned Sprint towers in your area after T-Mobile bought Sprint that might cause worse reception.

If T-Mobile simply doesn't have good coverage where you are I'd recommend switching to a carrier using AT&T or Verizon.

I found out in my case that problem was in selected contact list. In android you can use more than one contact list at once. I've just turned off Whatsup and / or Viber contact list. Then I deleted sms chat with wrong number displayed. After that everything perfect.

I got new phones for my children using that deal. You're right. It's great!

We, "may", see a final release in the coming weeks that could update the current Android Security patch and may offer some minor bugfixes but then that will be it for support from OnePlus for the OnePlus 6 & 6T devices.

There will NOT be an Android 12 update for these devices.

If you wish to extend the life of your OnePlus 6 or 6T and receive regular updates and Android Security patches, you will need to install a custom ROM such as Lineage or any of the other custom ROM's out there.

What device exactly will he be listening from? If the car stereo has a USB input, just put his music on the USB stick and play off that

The cloud is either some cloud storage or backup app or else a weather app. Clouds are, unfortunately, rather generic and there are a lot of apps with cloud icons, so very hard to identify a particular app.

The ball looks like a football ("soccer ball" to Americans). There are a lot of apps related to that sport, and I've never been that interested in 22 strangers kicking a ball around a field for 90 minutes, so I can't hope to identify which particular sports app it might be.

The last one was identified in another thread recently as the "digital wellbeing" app. That's probably collecting data on their screen time usage and sending it to Google , but it's not something that the user uses to send data anywhere.

Hi there, I recently setup a few a rule on my phone to turn the ringer up when connected to my home wifi (because I would often have it set to vibrate when I'm out and then forget to turn the ringer back on when I got home.

It works in that when I get home it sets it to ring, but it's also turning the ringer off when I leave the house. Turn the ringer off when disconnected to wifi is not a rule. It's just doing it for me. I don't want it to not ring when I'm out unless I manually set it.

Is this happening to anyone else? I'm using Android 12 on a Pixel 3a.

Samsungs with Android 10 I don't know, and I've never heard of this "Samsung Sound Assistant" ether. Is that a feature of the S9 phone?

It seems Sound Assistant is a separate set of options that got added into Android 11, because it has the separate app sound option. However, that will only work for one app at a time, and is the app's output sound, not notification alerts or any of that.

How can I send a notification or reminder to a user based on their product's expiration date? Can someone please help me? Sorry I just started Android Development.
