Motorola Moto G Power Not Recognizing SD Card Reader

With a Pixel phone to change USB setting, ie, from charging to data

You can set the Default USB configuration in the Settings > System > Developer options.

To unhide the Developer options menu:
  1. Go to "Settings", then tap "About device" or "About phone".
  2. Scroll down, then tap "Build number" seven times
This is really weird. When I went to developer options and the USB configuration, no data transfer was selected. I had turned the google photos backup back on thinking that was the problem to begin with. I selected the file transfer option and stuck my card reader back in there with an empty SD card. It mounted and wanted to reformat the card so I let it. Then, I went back and turned google photos backup off again and stuck the SD card with some photos on it in there and it's right back to where it was. It won't even mount it again. I even tried putting the card that it reformatted back in the reader, no go. The USB configuration is still set to the file transfer selection.

(Java) Android IR Blaster app

Hello everyone,
this is my first thread so I hope that this will bring me to a solution.
I recently bought a SMART IR Blaster for my phone that connects via otg port. I'm currently making an app to control every
kind of device of all brands. I installed the app made for this IR and works perfectly, so I wanted to decompile it and get some code to implement the IR in my app. I tried to recreate many functions from com.esmart.ir package and made the permission request but it didn't work...
The app is called Ocrustar, available on google play store.
I'll pay 10€ via paypal if anyone can send me a working method, possible in java :)

No Wifi

The simple option is to try another Android distribution (such as FydeOS). That's what I did with my Surface Go 3: I tried a few Android distributions, until I found one that worked right. That said, I have two questions:

#1: Why do you want to install Android onto this computer?

#2: Is this computer a tablet-laptop hybrid? That is: Does it have a touch-screen, and can the keyboard fold back so that the computer transforms from a laptop into a tablet?

Greatest Moments in AF HISTORY?!

The HTC Droid Incredible launch gets my vote. And after all of the hype and everyone waiting to get the phone, it lived up to and was more than anyone dreamed. I spent my first month here sharing the misery with everyone waiting to get their Dink. It was the friends I made while waiting that cemented my love for these forums. It was that foundation and the wonderful members that followed that has kept me here.

Accessories New microSD going read-only

I haven't bought an SD card since like 2013 so I'm luckily unaffected. I've been reusing the same cards since Android 2.3 was launched.
That's fine, so long as you don't need the higher capacity and faster speed of modern disks. But SD cards are cheap enough that, when you start worrying about space, I'd recommend buying a larger more modern one. Just buy it directly from SanDisk (or another reputable manufacturer)!

Note taking app

Dear android forum

I'm looking for an app where I can write, draw, paste images and automatically create a table of contents. It would be used for my studies where I need to make sketches of various things like workflows and physical properties etc, cut out some part of script handed over and also write things, I would like to organize these notes in in different sections to get an overview and a summary. Consequently, an automatically created table of contents would be very beneficial.

Could you recommand such an app?
Color note aint bad
