I hate to lose a game on a bad call but it wasn't a one sided call.... just not a good call. I had a feeling that a one run lead wasn't going to be enough. We need to win those at home series. At least we weren't swept. I don't think we've been swept yet this year... now that I think about it. Not bad for a middle of the road team. Hey, we've tied our total wins for last year already. That's how bad we were last year... not how good we are this year. 
The Royals host the Cubbies for a three game series starting tonight. I hope they have better luck than their bout with the D-Backs.
Boston and the Yankees for three, I may be able to watch two - Fox and ESPN will be carrying them Saturday and Sunday. A sweep would be fun!

Nice win Clem! The Royals had a six run inning all with two outs. Was the only scores in the game. 6-0 Royals over Cubs.

I love your optimism. At this point, I'll be happy if the Royals just win their series. I hate losing a home series. It leaves me thinking the stink is still on us.

Don't forget, there will be 3 division winners and 3 wild cards (best record) in the playoffs. The Royals have a good chance of making the playoffs

I'd love to see them have a post season appearance. The American League Central is strong this year. It would be amazing to come out on top and likely too much to hope for. A wild card bid could be possible. It's fun just to be in a position to dream for a change.
I didn't realize it until I just looked, but the current American League Wild Cards are the Yankees, Twins and Royals

There is a lot of season left and it's way too early to get excited. I am excited however and will be disappointed if they don't see some post season. I'm a fan.

The Royals won the opener with the White Sox. As I mentioned earlier, no game is a given and tonight's game supported that.
It was a three homer eighth and one was a Bobby Witt Jr. slammer that put up six runs that ultimately won the game for the Royals. You can't count on having an amazing BS inning to win a game. It's sweet when it happens but far from a given.

Well, that was more like the team I know, they beat themselves soundly.
I switched off of the plex to finish watching the Royals game full screen when Boston was getting smoked. I see they came back some after I quit watching them. The Dodgers / Padres have a game going.
