Root CyanogenMod 7 Unofficial Beta 5 02/20/12

Brilliant rom, couldnt be happier.

Well I installed beta from xda site and everything is working ok now. Actually, it didn't work the first time i tried to install, but that was because i had formatted sd ext to ext4 for s2e and forgot about it. i formatted it to ext2 and no problems. Thanks again.

is there anything that i can install or mod to help performance. Like modifying the build.prop? or using v6 supercharger? phone is working ok but theres always room for improvement.. right? dont want to mess phone up... need it working for job...so was hoping u guys of stuff that has been tested already

k....im confused now...this is froyo? why does it say gb in about phone? and why is it nothing like froyo?

It's not so much for froyo as it requires the EE14 baseband and uses the same core kernel revision as froyo because that's all that worked at the time hroark released this mod.

That's why it's a froyo upgrade and not a GB upgrade.

Be easy... They said cm7 and gingerbread would never make it to the prevail... Just give devs some time and magic may just happen.... Until then enjoy.....
 
But really how could you not be happy with this rom. I mean i was hoping hroark was having better luck with gingerbread. But if it doesnt work out and he continues to work on this one i won't be mad.. I mean.. I have cyanogenmod 7 on my prevail. So, GB or not im happy. Thank you Hroark.. We are behind you no matter what you think is best. I honestly wish i could help in some way.

i will be just as happy if he updates the current version to beta v3d i mean gb based would be cool but im grateful that we even have cyanogenmod on the prevail

Oh im in no way complaining i LOVE CM 7.1 its what im running on my 2.2 prevail right now and so far i have no complaints at all. Its a million times better than stock lol. I am in total agreement with you and also wish i knew more about roms and kernels and whatnot so that i could help out as well
 
Has development on this mod ceased? I haven't seen any updates in awhile or some news on it's development.
