I almost got strip searched in Aruba- both entering and leaving the country. Not sure why, but my work friends all thought it was hilarious.

Got a question,
Basically im still using htc sensation (UK), this phone turns off when it reaches around 40degrees, dont think this was considered a fault, but imm shure the model before 9desire) use to turn off around 65-60degrees

Does the LG G2 do this? if so around what temp.

I can't speak to the G2, one of our buds will I'm sure.

I can speak to your Sensation issue though.

All decent devices of any kind with a lithium battery will include a thermal cutoff circuit, for your protection as well as the device's.

I had the US version of your phone, the HTC Evo 3D, aka the 3vo around here.

Identical to yours overall, except 3D screen, 3D camera and a little more ram to support the 3D. When running in 2D (most all of the time) you'd have trouble telling our phones apart.

Before seeing the above post, I came to chat about the 3vo anyway.

To show off the 3D, it came preloaded with your own, paid for, copy of The Green Hornet in 3D.

Sorta, "start you off right," idea.

I just wanted to say that it would be cool as all get out if the phone came preloaded with some modern movie at 1440p.

Start you off right! :)

I hate Aruba, passionately, ever since I lost my $1400 camcorder there during scuba diving in 2006. And I lost it because the local company had local idiots as the instructors. They told me it would be 30ft dive. it was 45ft+ dive. My el cheapo housing didn't expect such attitude. :(

Definitely enough info in place IMO that the Qhd display is a stretch for the 801 and a resource hog when the gpu is leveraged. Probably not a device for gamers unless a spare battery at the ready....

Testing will tell the tale, but would be a better fit with 1080p.

Broken record because I keep waiting for info to refute my concern. Quite the opposite so far.
