Root [ROM][Beta][FINAL] CM7 Android For Triumph [Tickerguy Edition, Kernel: mine] 11/19

I just formatted and reflashed 5 and GAAPs and I do not have the use of the lockscreen. I double checked setting in CM7. Am I missing something, in ADW perhaps?

Am I the only one who's phone decidedly (incorrectly) that daylight savings ended today and is now showing the wrong time (off an hour)?

Also for some reason I cant manually set the time to fix this...

I tried toggling the date/time automatic set checkbox, that didn't fix it. Is this an issue with TZ data on the phone... or an issue with the local tower giving wrong time?

Update: ok I can manually set the time but *only* immediately after letting the screen timeout.

Update 2: must have been the tower's fault, because this afternoon it suddenly fixed itself.

thank you for your work! I think there is an issue with Google Voice notification. I initially noticed it in MIUI, but after flashing to CM7 just now to check it out, I think it's CM7's issue since MIUI is based on it.

below is what I've posted in the MIUI thread which describe the problem.

I just noticed another weird issue. Since I use GV for texting, when the phone receives a GV notification while its in sleep mode, the notification gets "disrupted" and not show up in the notification bar, nor does the LED notification works...

It works as it should when the screen is on(notification bar icon, and blinking LED when turned off). Gmail & gtalk also works fine. Anyone else has this problem? any ideas for a fix?
I just noticed another weird issue. Since I use GV for texting, when the phone receives a GV notification while its in sleep mode, the notification gets "disrupted". The notification sounds will ends prematurely if it's longer than ~2 seconds, the LED will blink once then stop blinking, and then when I turn on the screen, there is no GV notification in the notification bar.

It works as it should when the screen is on though(sound, notification bar icon, and blinking LED when turned off). Gmail & Gtalk also works fine in both on/sleep states.

Could anyone else check if they have the same problem? and any ideas for a fix?

==================
EDIT: fixed, the problem is 4.2.36, use 4.2.34 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=14151787&postcount=2

SO awesome that you have screenshot working!! =D Thanks so much!!

This ROM is amazing and I am having no issues at all in this latest build.

Thank you Tickerguy for the timing on these releases as Philadelphia has been hit with a bad ice/snow storm leaving me with nothing to do but camp out in my apartment and play with my phone.

TickerGuy, I noticed that you haven't responded to any queries about CM7 not being able to attach to hidden SSIDs. This might be an issue upstream with CM7, but I'd like to know if this is on your radar currently or not?

Tell me if that works please, thanks!
I wiped my system and reinstalled but sadly it did not work...a tad disappointing. Another possibility is a factory reset then installing the ROM. I will just stick with the problem for now and change my sound via the volume rocker. I wonder what could be causing this?

hey everyone,
I had phone service last night, but when I woke up this morning I did not. I wiped cache and data and flashed the new build (.06) and GAPPS and still no phone service. Anything I could have done to mess up?

Thanks in advance,
Tom

This has been discussed earlier in this thread somewhere. I believe they stated that it is upstream in cm7. Don't count on it being fixed anytime soon.

I know this is a huge thread but this issue has been talked about more than once in it.

I've discovered a problem that I knew existed on previous builds, but kept forgetting about until now. Whenever I try to add a new contact from my call log, I get an error. I go to my call log, select a call from the list, and then select Add to contacts. Once I click on Create new contact, I get the error "Sorry, The process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly. Pleas try again." and there's a Force close button. This has happened before, I believe on all of the versions, but I always forget to tell somebody about it! It just happened again, so I'm wondering if this is just my phone, or is it a problem with anyone else?

Thanks.

This was a tower issue, my mom who has a stock Optimus V had the same problem. But my CM7 beta0.1 Triumph and my sister's Optimus V were fine.

For example I touch the brightness icon in the status bar and it goes really bright and I touch the icon again and it wont go back down . Another example would be the sound one as well I press it and goes up in volume but I touch it again it wont change back to either silent or vibrate.

Go to the CyanogenMod settings/interface/notification power widget/widget buttons/brightness modes and check off the options that you want the brightness widget to go to

I must be one of the fortunate ones who has not been having any of the issues stated on this page on Beta 6. The ROM is working without FC's or errors since updating last night. Also, I still have phone and 3G service while some are reporting having no service at all.
Before updating, I wiped the Dalvik cache but I did not format the system for the sole reason that I do not want to reinstall the Google apps and have to set up my Google account etc etc.. I figure if an update ever fails or bugs on me, I will then format system and reflash GAPPS.
Nevertheless, on this current build I am not having any issues. In fact, my screen is even rotating properly even though I see that it's not technically supposed to since the sensors are "broken" at this time.

If people are having issues, check your running apps and settings as I can personally say it is not ROM related. And try doing a FULL wipe of everythng (after backing up of course with Titanium Backup or something) and try installing again. It does work.
