Root [ROM] CM7 TG-Reloaded (Final: 03-25)

how do you check to see if it deep sleeps? cause i will see if i have that problem.... (i just flashed with old kernel) and i use headphones all the time so i need the old kernel lol :D

Where do you NOT see roboto font? I see it pretty much everywhere, including lockscreen. Only part I don't see is the default alarm clock app, which still uses old DroidSans.
Umm...ok...maybe I'm going crazy...I could have sworn there were a bunch of places I wasn't seeing it, but after doing some before/after screenshots I've concluded that apparently I'm off my rocker...lol

Headphone media volume is very low. I put up all the way and its still not as loud as it used to be. Alredy tried different headphones.

Edit: i noticed that when listening to music and unplugging the headphones it will switch from the headphones media volume setting to the speaker media volume setting. When plugging the headphones back in the sound will sound much lower even at the highest volume. Also when i was listening to music with headphones and the sound was still working properly, i got a text message and the notification sound came up the volume lowered again. But the volume setting is at the highest? Whats the problem?

Known bug, the notification sound lowers the volume to play and doesn't raise it back up. Call someone for a few like 10 seconds and hang up. You can call VM customer support and it wont cost any minutes. If you call it a few times, the beep it makes when you hang up will be louder than usual. Your volume is restored.

Whyzor keeps recomending betterBatteryStats
He put a link for it in post 200

So when we load the new builds don't they bring the new kernels with them or do I have to flash them seperately?

The newest ROMs come with the latest kernels
Whyzor is trying to figure out what went wrong with something, so he would like to see if it's in the kernel or the other side of the ROM.

Whyzor, would you be willing to post this to ROM Manager?

I don't see the benefits of using it. The instructions are similar. And if something goes wrong, the user has to learn how to use recovery anyway. Learning how to flash recovery is good knowledge, learning how to use ROM Manager only would be helpful if a device supports it. Just too many hoops to jump through for not a lot of benefits.

BTW, I uploaded 01-26 build with a working headphone kernel (some of my experimental settings broke it apparently). If you are running ROM 01-25 with kernel 01-18, there's no need to upgrade.

Quick question - I see this as one of the updated items:

- Improved UI response without sacrificing battery or performance by switching to Interactive governor & SIO scheduler as default

But on my phone and my wife's phone running 01-25, when I reboot the governor is always set back to ONDEMAND. Shouldn't it default to INTERACTIVE? I do not have the "Set on boot" box checked. Do we need to clear the Cyanogenmod data in applications to reset preferences back to default or something?

It's interactive default in the kernel, but I remember TG might've reset it to default ONDEMAND 245-1024 like stock ROM to prevent it from randomly set too high and prevent some phones from ever booting up correctly. If you can set to interactive & a certain frequency range and it works fine, then check that box so it saves across reboots.

I see... and thank you for fixing the kernel! :)

Just popping in to make a comment that my work has purchased a Galaxy Nexus for on call service that I take home 3 nights a week and so far I have to say that my Triumph running CM7 TG Reloaded Overclocked at 1.3g and loaded with Apps is much more responsive and smother than the Nexus, the difference is surprisingly fairly drastic. Can also confirm about a 1500 difference in the quadrant scores also.

Saw in the new 1/26 build that there is an option for Carrier Name change in CM settings, but I do not see this option. Where is it? I've changed it before no big deal the original way, but it would be nice to have this option. Thanks again Whyzor.
Edit: Spoke too soon, it was under CM settings-interface-status bar tweaks.

Is the any way to get a stock launcher? I'm not a fan of the ADW launcher. I know IHO guys made flashable zip for a stock launcher on the OV . Is it possible for us to get something like that?

Its a great ROM by the way. I'm grateful someone is continuing development for CM7. Just can't stand ADW haha!

there is a flashable zip I found on the cyanogenmod forums that replaces age with the stock gingerbread launcher. You just flash it in recovery and good to go I'm not at my PC right now but I'll link it later unless someone beats me to it.

Yes, that's what I use. It's easier than uninstalling ADW and then having to install stock launcher because this simply replaces ADW with the stock Gingerbread launcher.. in a flash! ;) Here is the link: CM7GBStockLauncher.zip

Hope that helps! It worked for me
