Root [ROM] CM7 TG-Reloaded (Final: 03-25)

If you want piece. Just go to sdx we can start a new build there and there are sections for questions as well as development it's ore friendly than xda with out all the confusion of android forums. Just a shout out from sdx cause I've had my start there being an intercept user.
 
Is it possible the proximity sensor thing could be a hardware issue? The only issue I've had was the flickering issue that TG fixed months ago. We all know the MT has its share of QC issues, so its certainly feasible that could be the case here.

I do not have a proximity sensor issue when reinstalling my back-up stock froyo rom.

This issue also doesn't persist on the MIUI ROM. I have tested this on my phone while I had MIUI installed on the phone.

No matter what you plan on doing, make sure the first thing you do is make a nanobackup
 
Hey, anyone with issues on the 3/4 build, have you flashed back to 3/1 build? I'm just wondering if the stability on 3/1 was working better for anyone other than me.

Am I the only one that can't get Facebook sync to work? I'm assuming it may not be ROM related, but just asking to make sure..

It's up to you. There's a lot of patches in theOC that Whyzor hasn't included in his latest Whykernel. Also, you may or may not still encounter the lockscreen issue that the last few posts mention which may or may not be resolved by me reverting the 2 sensor wakelock commit. It seems to help my phone but I also don't usually use cm7 for more than a day at a time.

It's related to the screen saver. try setting the lock for like 5 minutes. I haven't. Had the chance to test against the earlier builds. If someone want's to confirm, that be great.

Yeah I did a namdriod backup but if i wanna keep the updated ROM and not use stock Rom how would i get appd and contacts back on my phone? When i do the nandroid rostore it also restores the stock ROM

OK, your contacts should be linked to your google account (you have to enable that stuff, but I recommend it as you never have to worry about losing them again). The apps I would recommend you download form the market fresh, restoring them from an app or extracting them and restoring them can cause a lot of issues.

Ok I have my contacts sync to my google account so once on the updated ROM what Steps do i need to proform to upload them in the contacts section on the new ROM. Then you say i should just manuel redownload app froms google play?

Once gmail app is installed...go to your phone's settings > accounts sync > click on your gmail account and select contacts to sink with the phone.

Just make sure you have the google account set up on the new ROM, then make sure the sync is enabled for them. and you are good. And yes, redownload the apps fresh from the play market.

So is setting up the google account on this Rom a seperate thing I would have to do in Clockwork Recovery Mode? Is there tutorials on how this is done?
